I'm not the target audience. I prefer shooters, never got into overwatch. I imagine if you like the overwatch games you'll like this. But the fact that I have to imagine, means this game isn't for me. Cut my chops on battlefield, and this controlled engagement, push the cart is so 2008. :P Loved TF2, but I also loved fire back then too.

The time is now, I need more from video games.

Your product really shouldn't hinge on the fact that the reigning champion completely and wholly botched their last release to the point that the company no longer exists. (the last Sim City by the rebirth of Maxis that they had to refund)

I have a feeling if you enjoy this game in it's current state, it's because you've played every Sim City by Maxis over the last 30 years. This game is enjoyable, it's good. We're at the point where the judgment of a game these days comes back to, is it at a point where you're wanting more, vs uninstalling.

It does feel like some development just stopped. The fact that they have the different tiers of cities up to megalopolis but your tourist/stadium options are severely limited is striking. Almost like they developed the game ( a good game ) to a certain size and then just took a break. This is coming from someone who pays for blood and gore in warhammer, I fully expected to see a DLC, but there's not even that... So I don't even know how to interpret that.

I want them to keep doing everything they are doing.

It's just fun.

And that's pretty sad, if you read the reviews of most AAA games these last couple of years, I can't remember the last game I played where I could just say that.

It's just fun, play it. Spend money on cosmetics to support the developers ability to put a smile on your stupid mug

1100 hours in Warhammer II, 400+ in III.

You're going to pay for blood, you're going to cry about it, and then you're going to spend 1000 hours bathing in the visual splendor of your decapitated enemies.

If you're a fan of the total war franchise, you'll love it. There's worse things to spend money & time on. If you haven't seen your Dad since you were 5, it's because he's been playing Total War.

I haven't played a click and move game/turned based combat game since the 90's, and this was pretty damn good. Would recommend and play again as another character.

Sadly I can't remember the last AAA tittle (or other software) that didn't have it's fair share of bugs on release. I think software development in a live service update mindset has gone to ♥♥♥♥ in all industries, not just game development, The last two patches have made this game enjoyable as an infantry player. It's regrettable that the current state (2 patches in) wasn't the product they released. It's only getting better after every patch.

I hope to drop 1000+ hours into it. If they continue making it better as they are, I will have no problem doing so.

Awesome game, now's the time to pick it up before the sequel hits. And at this price, it's a steal! Can't find a better game for $2.99 on steam.

Was awful. Good at the current price, but back in 2010 wasn't worth the release price by any stretch.
