Really solid game, which I can confidentially recommend.

Honestly, I do not understand the hatred some players feel towards this game.

Yes, the launch was a bit, let's say, unpleasant, but over the last year, the game has improved immensely, mostly thanks to the community creators. It is overall known that Paradox games rely heavily on the Community to improve, fix, or add content, and with Cities Skylines 2, it's not different.

I have played Cities Skylines 1 for an okay amount of time, and it was basically no different.


Cities Skylines 2 does feel really immersive and packing for me, and I love to build cities.
This I do with yes, a lot of mods, again really huge thank you for all the community creators, but this is almost the point. Without mods, this game is entry-level, beginner-friendly. With the mods, you get a much more universal game that gives you way more possibilities.

Overall, if you've played Cities Skylines 1 and for whatever reason only now consider buying CS2, do it. Even at launch, I really enjoyed this game and I can confidently recommend it.



Also, when playing without mods, I never experienced crashing, lags, or any other unwanted behavior.
