This review is after my first completed run. It took me a long time to get there because this game rewards patience and precision more then the first game. I try to rush though a run and that does get me into trouble a number of times. If you get frustrated at things like that then this is not the game for you. If you are willing to push though the runs and get 'Meta' progression you can get there.

A complaint I do have with the current balance is there are a number of boons that I just never take. It was worse before the first patch that came out but it hasn't helped much. The specific example: There are a number of boons that pertain to digging up plants. Before the first update if you didn't bring the shovel they seemed pointless to me. After this first one you at least always have the shovel on you, but I still tend to avoid them. I have more need for other materials that spawn in the world other than plants and seeds at this time. I know not everything can be useful to you in a run but usually I can see when they can be useful. Those I still can't at this time. Maybe it will help in further updates. If that changes I'll try to remember and update this review.

A great mix of Turn Based stragey with a bit of FPS and team management. There are a few things that can be a pain, but over all it is great to over come them.
