With the replacement of DICE with Ridgeline Games, I expect better in the futre.

Everything takes time in this game. Most of the good rewards are in null sec or wormhole space. Easy intro to end game through mega corps.

Make your way to Jita, enjoy local, and everything 'lights' up about why this is a great game.

I'll just wait for the new battlefield in 2024 or wait for discount. Not worth it for the price.

If you like model airplanes, and first person shooters, this game is for you. Consistently high player counts and other modes for land and sea battles.

The time commitment to unlock better vehicles quickly ramps up, but the first couple of tiers are easy. If you want to upgrade from prop planes to jet planes you might need to spend real cash to unlock it because the time commitment to unlock high tier vehicles (like jets) without paying is insane.

The review is only a thumbs up because its probably the best RTS that has been released in the past two years. I really enjoyed the live action videos that are available after some of the campaign missions, but its something you would probably find a history channel video on from youtube if you looked. I haven't seen anything even remotely close to how they incorporated those videos into the game since red alert 2/westwood studios; but again its more like a history lesson more than it is something to draw you into the game. Still nice to see live action videos that dont reek of low cost production.

The art on the individual units looks like something from 1995, but smoothed over. The textures, terrain, shading, and overall landscape are nice but not stunning for a 2021 title. Campaign on hard is genuinely difficult, which I like.

Overall 6.5/10

Game was alright until 60 then the time investment for rewards is just crazy.
