Early Access Review
This game might look like Minecraft/Roblox but it runs like a combination of Battlefield 2 and Mirrors Edge with extra mechanics implemented like dragging away fallen teammates, building simple shelters and destruction of buildings etc.
Turn up the volume and scream in the microphone! No matter if you play chaotic 256 player maps or calm 16 players you'll find a few good laughs in the microphone.

Downside is that the game engine is sh*t. It's at times unresponsive especially if you have vertical sync enabled. Yet, the greatness of this game outweighs its flaws.

The developers have gone for realism physics (but failed) in a few places (like bullet drop), but you gotta take those with a grain of salt.
Also, don't listen to people that tell you the game is dead. You'll always find at least one full server you can jump into (at least for EU).

Large variety of mechanics and fun puzzles, some of them tricky.
I wish some of them were longer, and a few to be shorter.
The aesthetics are beautiful with a theme for each chapter and a lot of twists and nooks to explore.
Sometimes I felt the game went too fast to enjoy the surroundings (especially the whale scene which was astonishing).

A bit performance heavy, but not too bad.
Sure beats their previous game (A Way Out) in all ways.

Note: OK for people with simulation sickness but be careful with the flight sections.

I don't recommend this game unless you're a Warhammer fan. If that's the case, sure, go for it!

The game is based on toys and has missed no opportunity to live into itself. All the cheesy dialogue, the moral system and the story line really express it! I feel the campaign especially is too much.

Mechanically, this game is so incredibly clunky. It features crash collision and narrow passages which makes troop movement infuriating. Oftentimes the squads don't stick together and sometimes some try to casually walk through the enemy base. It's close to impossible to coordinate tanks together with infantry for an assault as they will slip far behind. Anytime explosives are introduced to the battle you will strike a significant amount of it into your own troops and morale. Not to mention that the whirlwind (artillery) units are incredibly inaccurate.

Anyways, if you're able to overlook the lack of detail coordination and all the nerd stuff you got a mediocre to somewhat fun game. I have this game and the expansions on CD since decades back. There definitely are better strategy games than this from the same time era, but if you're in for the lore it's not a bad game.

We had good fun, but that f*cking ending. Just turn off the game when you get back to the plane and you can live in bliss. Besides that the mechanics can sometimes be quite silly (which we had some good laughs about) and simple enough for my companion to play, yet, very diverse. The game has a lot to explore and some functional mini-games.

Be aware that the high graphics might turn your computer into a toaster and lower them to your taste.
