It's a solid upgrade with the best of the PC and console versions and some solid bonus modes, though there are some issues that will hopefully get fixed soon.

It's a very pleasant game that's free of stress and only takes an hour or so to beat, so it's well worth checking out.

Early Access Review
It's a fun and chill game so far, as I'm a sicko that mostly drags items to their locations hoping for some good tunes pop up on the radio to make the vibes perfect. Hoping the rest of Early Access keeps adding some good stuff.

Just a lovely game about staying at home, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and making a friend with no effort.

This game is one of those really good relaxing simulators that does what it purports to do really well and is just a fun experience to relax and clean some buildings, vehicles, or other structures.

With the 1.0 release, PowerWash Simulator is one of the best games ever made and it's the most satisfying game of 2022.

Updating this for November 2023 to add further that the post-launch support has been absolutely fantastic with a good amount of free jobs and some cool paid DLC campaigns set in the SpongeBob SquarePants and Back to the Future worlds that fit the game perfectly. PowerWash Simulator is the model game for great post-launch support.

For its pure Picross controls and mechanics, PictoQuest is a pretty good clone of the Jupiter games on the Switch. You can put down Xs and fill in the rest as you drag the cursor around. That kind of simple stuff.

While the game is presented as an RPG, it's not anything like what you'd expect from the description. You're never gaining XP for completing puzzles or doing anything like that. You just occasionally take on enemies as you're completing puzzles, so it's just a matter of managing enemy attack bar cooldowns as you complete rows or columns as you go. You also have an inventory of items to help you refill hearts or help you solve the puzzles, but that stuff is more for those that are new to this style of puzzle.

The big issue is that it's too easy for anybody that is good at Picross and there are no ways to make it harder. No options to stop the numbers from graying out when you fill them in or anything like that. The one thing that does add some difficulty is that a number of the puzzles are sort of fights with monsters and if you're not micromanaging how you're doing the puzzle to keep enemies from attacking you, you can take extra damage that you don't have to. To be honest, once you get the two upgrades to your health, it was pretty easy to not worry about mistakes and just keep going since the chance of enemies doing damage on attacks is pretty low and you regain all health between puzzles. There's not much of a threat of losing puzzles and even then, you can use items to regain health or help you solve parts of the puzzle to make it easier. There are some more challenging puzzles with added requirements like not making mistakes or beating them under a certain time, but those are just repeats of puzzles you've done recently and they weren't that hard to begin with.

The big killer is that there are only 100 puzzles in the game, so it only took me about 10 hours to get through them all and get the last couple of achievements. I guess the biggest perk is that the achievements are easy to get 100% in.

That's it. It's easy, light on content, and it's not even an RPG.

Started it up after a recent update and both saves were gone, which then got uploaded to the Steam Cloud so that there was no chance at recovery. Waste of time.

Another master work by the amazing Supergiant Games combining a lot of the elements and style of their previous games into a great roguelite full of character story and fun action gameplay.

Played a ton of this on PS4 and this version is a great port to the PC and Steam with a lot of upgrades with the New Light update. Graphics options are a step up compared to most other PC games I've played to help make it look as good as it can on my 770.

Runs just poor enough on my 770 that it is a bummer of an upgrade for such an old game. Ended up grabbing it on the PS4 and beating the game there because it was a smoother experience.
