Experience has been mixed - I want to love this game but can't

The Good

-Further enhancements of weapon loadouts - specifically the ability to customize the lowers.
-Water Combat introduced
-Graphics are visually pleasing
-A Wide Variety of MP Formats


The Bad

-I, as many, fell once again into the trap of BUYING a MTX based game.
-MWII vs MW, I notice a major boost in aim assist with console players. I find it EXTREMELY curious that MWII DOES NOT offer an option to DISABLE Crossplay like it does with consoles and MW.
-Upgraded version is below par, I really don't feel any value, other than getting curated payware for free.
-The Skill Based Matchmaking is weak... constantly get thrown into lobbies with high pings & experience random packet data loss at a way more than desirable rate.
-Weapon balance is a joke, Updates nerf layouts, Pistols vs Rifles etc... etc... but hey it's activision and they're making BILLIONS off of MTXs. Days of Grinding out Layouts and Achievements are POINTLESS and serve as only flair nowdayz.
-New Battlepass system is horrid. FREE... yeah.... every Free item in every bracket still charges points.

Simply put another release where blizzard/activision packages massive payware allowing people breeze through perks just in order to upsale.

I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD MAKE A COD LIKE THE OLD DAYS WHERE YOU COULD PICK LOBBIES BASED UPON PING, NO MTX (LEVELS THE PLAYING FIELD/FORCES GRINDING FOR LOADOUTS). I WOULD GLADLY GO BACK TO PAYING FOR MAP PACKS TO GET THIS TYPE OF ONLINE PLAY IN MODERN COD GAMING!


Conclusion

-You not only have to play the game, but you gotta outplay the devs with their baked-in marketing strategies.
-If you like paying the devs/publishers for a quick rise, battlefield advantage, or quirky digital content, accessories & enjoyed the previous title, then spend away - you're only further blurring the line... the game is practically an FPS Fortnite.
-If you have the old school grind it out mentality, Warzone is by far the best bang for the money, cause you don't have to give these perps a dime and still face the same frustrations as mentioned above.

It's quirky... but I love it. Story line is a bit dull - but you have to take in to account it's age... and it really doesn't reflect MP gameplay. This is where my heart lies with the game.

Honestly, it's still my favorite out of the series. It beats having to deal with GFWL that LPEC:Colonies has to deal with, even though Colonies definitely has more of a player base. This one seems to be more PC and user friendly.

This version does have a rather small active online player base... but it's not filled with overpowered weapons - like colonies - and seems to have more of a precision aspect to it. I still play both... for they both have their ups and downs... where one lacks the other picks up.

Good game... Short but good. $20 is steep for an hour game, minimal controls... but it plays beautifully! Has an American McGee flavor to it. I like it. Put it on your wishlist and wait for it to go on sale.

I don't know why... but for some strange reason, this is still one of my very favorite of the series... Maybe it's because even though the playerbase isn't insanely high... it's stable. And for this it gets my stamp of approval!

It's a good little game.... and it does get challenging... not one of your typical speed runners, my only gripe is it could come down in price. $10 for speedrunner is crazy in my book. A+

I wish I could review... but can't even get it to launch properly. It opens and quits. Will update, if I ever get around to trying it on my desktop.

This game is still one of my favorites in the franchise... They just don't make em like they used to.

Some parts made me pee a little!

Been awhile since I've played this title (around 6 mo.)

First and foremost, graphics on this game are amazing remastered... to bad there's some bugs that would cause the game to crash (mainly at auto save points. Once you learn to save frequently, this game is a blast to play. Okay Rosie????
