Putting the controversy aside, the game is a fantastic game with plenty of playable hours. Unlike a lot of other co-op mission based games this doesn't seem to get stale, each drop is the same but feels massively different every time with new threats and team dynamics.

With engaged devs and dynamic changes throughout the game with major orders and the galactic map changing every day, each time you play is different to the last. One day it's planting flags for democracy and other days it's fending off hordes of enemies.

The cherry on the cake was the devs hard work to resolve the Sony/PSN account issues, hats off to the whole team at Arrowhead for sticking by the players and standing up for what gaming should be.

From the point of writing this review, I haven't really sunk too much time into Cooking Simulator yet but the time I have spent has been a load of fun.

Being too inexperienced or lazy to cook in real life, I thought I'd try this game and its been a blast so far! Gave the campaign a go and its not too difficult yet not too easy at the start. Time to cook dishes is not too long yet not too short giving you plenty of time to prep and cook but still keeping you on your feet.

Mechanics for cutting ingredients and for measuring out ingredients are fantastic, they really require you to put some effort and thought into it rather than just clicking a 'cut' option. Good tip, spread your **** out so you don't cut like 50 things at once lmao

Realism is quite good too, again I'm no cook as I can just about make a cheese toastie and that's it, but I spoke to a friend who is a chef and he was dead impressed with the accuracy of ingredients and quantities of things within recipes.

Now, for the less positive stuff :(

From what I've found so far, the game has a slight issue with loading. either its my system or an unfortunate few people have the same issue but I'm struggling to get though the days in career mode. Apart from that, it seems faultless so far.

tl:dr - Great game so far, plenty of content and challenging scenarios at times. Few minor issues but mostly faultless.

After almost 300hrs, I feel like I should probably write a review.

ARK is brilliant, one of the games where you can sink in countless hours and even if it all goes to waste because a bigger and better tribe raids you, you still get that sense of accomplishment.
Of course you'll be mad that they killed all your dinos and completely turned your base into swiss cheese, but you know the base you made stood tall and protected you for as long as it did. And the dinos did their best to try and kill that level 98 Giganotosaurus that just ate your pet dodo. Yeah I speak from experience.

On a serious note, the map is amazing, full of cool little places and beautiful landscapes. The only thing I could fault is the countless rocks that you can get stuck on, but if you've got a tribe member or even a willing random player to come and help you its not that much of a problem.

The leveling and crafting is great, not many games can nail the crafting but ARK sure does. Progression is not easy but not completely insane, nice balance between the two. Dino leveling is the same, you can almost mould a perfect dino by taming a low level, or you can tame a high level and hope the stats are good.

The multiplayer is good, I understand its out of the devs powers but its a bit annoying playing on a server where larger tribes have build on metal spawns, around caves, around the pillars e.t.c Other than that I cant fault it.

Building is great, a lot more buildable things now the game is in full swing. Base building is not as flexible and complex as other open world survival games like Rust but its still possible to make a good base with in-depth designs.

Tl;dr - Great game, only issue is larger tribes dominating servers.

R.I.P Jerry, level 52 Dodo. One shotted by the level 98 Giganotosaurus. Fought valiantly o7

This game is one of a few that doesnt just focus on the crafting, but the endless exploration that is rare of most adventure/sandbox games.

I've never played a game which makes me feels so much sorrow when exploring an unknown, distant, barren planet and finding nothing but ruins of a once thriving civilisation. Or the discovery of gnomes living under the surface of a harsh planet in their own little world. Its so awesome ^_^

Highly recommend this game, if you love exploration, crafting, building, PvP and PvE then this is a must buy.

CS:GO Review
CS:GO, the one game that will double your heartbeat when your whole team depends on you winning a seemingly impossible 1v7 on casual.
10/10 killed 6 then died to a tec-9 followed by a hole in a desk

Where to start with this game.
Lets start with the maps. They are great! great detail and accurate to the minor details.
The cars. Pretty damn good! They need to add some more packs soon so that there will be a more diverse car selection for you to choose from.
The online. Pretty bad, need to sort out the de-sync issues ASAP and it's typicaly full of foreign kids screaming at you for cutting them up. Joining servers is a pain in the *** and sometimes leaving the pit lane in qualifying is a double pain in the ***.
Now then, the physics... ABSOLUTE ****. If you love pushing through the pack of cars to get to second place and then just exposing a tiny tiny tiny amount of you wheel onto the grass and getting flung around and around, then this will be £30 well spent. The countless amount of times that i've battled to get 2nd and even 1st and then be thrown to last place because of shoddy physics which bug out when you tap grass is unbelievable... You get stuck to cars when they come into contact with you, you can randomly spin out on a straight and if you dont have a rig thats above good then you will experience some lovely low frames and mysterious slow motion effects when you frames drop.

All in all, unless you have a decent rig and a great tolerance to bugs and shoddy physics then i would wait untill they patch this game up with more than duct tape and a glue stick.

Not going to waffle, going to jump straight in with the review.
All in all it's a great game, singleplayer and multiplayer both provide the submersive feel that every survival game should. The crafting is great and the building oppotunities are amazing, the map is very large so that you can explore for hours.
Now for the multiplayer.. It's a little difficult. From the servers i've played its been a bit of a waste trying to survive unless you join a server thats just been wiped, so that all loot is available. I tried surviving on a server which was up for a while and loot was like a needle in a haystack... PvP was okay, followed the same path as all survival MMOs where your enemy has a gun and you dont, you more or less die.
All in all it's a great game, much prefer singleplayer over multiplayer, however playing singleplayer can make the game slightly boring after a while.

It looks like a game which has potential. which it does. But only do you realise that it is like every other zombie MMO survival when you join a server to be met with instant death by someone who has a bigger gun that you. Actualy, you dont have a gun. But every person you meet does. If you like wasting your time searching endless houses and apartments for loot to then repeat the process because of some brain damaged, barely able to speak english bandit then it's perfect for you.
