I have no idea what is going on in this game more than half the time, but it certainly does pass the time. I got on for a "quick" session only to find out that I've spent the last 8 hours micromanaging my empire.

To be honest, this game isn't really what I had envisioned it was when I bought it - I was looking for a game where you can take over the entire galaxy without min/maxing too much but there is a fair amount of micromanaging. I was expecting more of a casual fleet-battle sim, but hey... It is a lot less confusing than galactic civilizations and I feel like, given enough time, I can figure it out.

This game is a solid 11/10
This is the kind of game that makes you wish you had a biological mutation that gave you an extra thumb just so that you could give the game 3 thumbs up. I mean, seriously. This game is bloody amazing!

The soundtrack? Phenomenal. The movement? Buttery smooth. The pace? The speed of fast! The weapon handling? PERFECTION.
Everything about this game is so chaotic and it is absolutely amazing.

The map has a really nice aesthetic going on as well.
At first I thought the sky islands would be a downside since it makes the map a lot smaller and more fragmented - but it works so perfectly with the movement system! It's really fun to just fling yourself off the islands and see how far you can get - That and the fact that it's just stupid fun to throw people off the ledges. xD

I can not say enough good things about EPN - just buy it!

Doubt it.

A good sequel to the last game. Makes some nice improvements to the graphics, and adds some interesting systems/progression.

There are however a few downsides...

1. They removed individual part analysis, for... some reason...

2. Unless you highlight a part to keep track of it, you can assemble the car, and replace the "wrong" spark plug/whatever - and then have to take the whole damn car apart to swap it with another spark plug that was in the car - because parts that are perfectly acceptable in some slots aren't acceptable to be used on the part that needs to be replaced. This can of course be VERY annoying. Especially if it's the pistons or something.

3. My god, fluids are tedious... Do people actually replace windshield washer fluid? I've never heard of such a thing - yet every job (practically) wants me to spend an extra 30 seconds doing that.

4. I don't know if I just haven't unlocked the jobs yet - but why aren't there any bodywork / paintjob jobs? Would like to do some of those.

Aside from those glaring flaws - a perfectly enjoyable game.

Maybe at 5$ it would be worth it.

Another game that is hard for the sake of being hard.

The best zoo simulation game made in the last 10 years, but it IS made by Frontier, so, be wary that it is entirely infested with ridiculously overpriced DLC.

That being said, the game is enjoyable enough with any of the DLC, and although I would recommend it overall, I would say that I have one major gripe. Micro-management.

I am all for freedom and detailed simulation but holy hell, it is a total utter pain to keep track of how many animals you have in an enclosure and make sure that they aren't overpopulating or dying off...

Other than that, Pretty good.

It's good, but just buy a newer one... They've gotten a lot better than this.
