It's alright, but there are just too many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ expensive DLCs for me to support this. Dwarf Fortress exists.

I was hesitant to get this because it looks simple, but it's just deceptive and has more depth than that. I've gotten lazier about finding music as I've gotten older so It's nice to have this modded to have youtube and song of the day where I can put it in my daily games category in my Steam library and hear a new song every day. It's usually electronic which I like, but there are other genres in there. It's relaxing and satisfying to play, and the many skins and different game modes and workshop options make it awesome. I would pay full price knowing what I know now, but I got it for 2 bucks or something. Also there's a weird nostalgia appeal to it that I can't put my finger on. I didn't play the first one so IDK what it is. Anyway, I love it, and I will probably be doing the daily songs 10 years from now.

It's an FPS must play because of many different things, but it needs to be said. If you're anything like me, which, I'm like me, you're gonna get stuck all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. So good luck with that.

You probably already know if you like pirates and ARPGs, and low price tags. What sets it apart is that It's funny, and the combat is satisfying with all the different mechanics put in. It's more than just run arounnd, and press numbers at things. There are things like perfect reloads, and attacking while moving in the direction of your enemy to do more damage, other things like that. The Sound design is pretty good too with lots of noises to trigger dopamine when you fire weapons and pick up loot. I had a problem when the game was in early access and the dev helped me fix it. I don't have a ton of playtime, but I don't feel like I need it for this review.

It's awesome. I wish I bought it sooner. It's been on sale like 100 times since it came out.

I liked it. I still have more content and then whatever workshop stuff, but I think it's a solid game. Stuff I liked: Soundtrack, Workshop support, unique controls, feeling of speed, fluidity, mish-mesh art style

I also like that they did not try to go retro, and had their own new art style for this game. I don't mind retro revival, but it's just so common for these kinds of games it's nice to see something doing it's own new thing, and I'm a guy who thinks putting a CRT filter over most stuff automatically makes it look better, because i'm old as ♥♥♥♥. What else is new.

It's pretty good. Obviously it's not the same type of gameplay as Quake 1, 2, 3, or live, but you know, I don't care, because I'm still playing Quake 1, 2, 3, and live. The textures are jank in some places, and that's because I didn't patch it, which I just didn't care to bother with that. When it saves it freezes and acts like it's going to crash for 10 seconds before letting you play again. There were 2 places where NPCs derped out and wouldn't progress the game with me so I had to reload the last save, but it wasn't that bad. The Strogg are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy and this game has really good atmosphere, and lots of body horror. The Strogg are kind of like the combine but even more evil. I mean, they just have torsos hooked up to machines writhing in what appears to be mild discomfort (kek), but anyway, yeah It was fun. If you get the Quake bundle, which why wouldn't you? You should play this game. Also there are a lot of carefully crafted scenes and segments that show they really gave a ♥♥♥♥ about the experience, and when you use the lightning gun on the strogg their brains eject from their skull.
