I got this for free, and I haven't really used it, so I will just leave a story about when I was 12 in 1998, when I found a copy of RPG Maker for PSX for sale for $7 in a Gamestop. I was really into JRPGs to where it was most of what I played when I was that age, and I very excitedly took the used game to the counter, smiling, because I was thinking about my own game. I even remember there being some kind of contest in EGM or something. I had $20 so I could afford to eat at the food court and to buy the game. Yes! Then, with a smile I placed the game on the counter to pay for it, and the 20 something year old guy at the counter, with a sneer said "you're not gonna make an RPG". Why? Just because he was a douchebag. He was right. It was too confusing for me, and my friend wanted to try it so I let him "borrow" it, and he never gave it back.

But still, I wanted to tell my RPG Maker story, and I want to say I hope that guy still works at Gamestop, a fate worse than death. I am into gamedev though, so maybe I'll make an RPG some time.

This is going to sound crazy, but I like it more than Risk of Rain 2, because you're not spending all this time looking for a teleporter, something that has always annoyed me about that game. It's definitely not as deep with the power ups and classes though, unfortunately.

More arbitrarily hard ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ making it insanely annoying to experience much of the art.

Way too hard.

+beautiful, colorful levels
+decent soundtrack
+collectables
+can tell they cared about the details
+comes with the original version some of the negative reviews seem to prefer (you get Marble it Up! and Marble it Up! Ultra as two separate games)
+workshop
+nice controls and gameplay elements

-base price is kind of high.
-some levels are frustrating on the last area
-i don't like the gem collecting levels

DON'T READ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ANYTHING. DON'T READ ANY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ REVIEW. DON'T GLANCE AT THE COMMUNITY TAB. MAJOR SPOILERS ALL OVER THE PLACE. I have been playing this game for 9 hours knowing 2 very VERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ important things about this game that I should not know yet due to reading steam reviews before buying it, and it has made the game a little less enjoyable at times because of this.

It's a good game, buy the whole collection when it goes on sale. Don't read the reviews. Little kids like to go OH IT MADE ME SO SAAAD WHEN (MAJOR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SPOILER) HAPPENED. I'M TWELVE.

It's not offensively bad or anything, I just don't get enough satisfaction from seeing things click and move after doing arbitrary ♥♥♥♥. I got stuck a couple itmes, and by the end when a new puzzle was revealed I was more annoyed than satisfied, because I just wanted it to be over. It just wasn't fun.

Lots of pros here.
excellent gameplay. smooth controls. authentic GBC look with modernized capabilities (runs smoother more framerate etc.), great box art (just saying), cute not horny dialog probably appropriate for kids (I get so used to seeing anime style stuff go straight to hornyville), Decent price. Extra stuff to do. I like their other game too Prodigal, but I haven't played Veritus yet. I will be buying it though, because everything they've done is quality.

It has racing in it. I love racing.
