It looks nice, but upgrades are boring. Really nothing special. It's not offensively bad, just nothing stands out. I think these games need something special to stand out. Playing more that are basic is a waste of time.

I wouldn't get it. I don't have much time, but I have tried to play this 6 or so times on different days and every time I have been booted shortly after going online, despite playing alone. It just says disconnected service not available, and I have fiber internet. It looks like it could be fun and the realistic graphics still hold up, but IF I CAN'T PLAY THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME THEN WHAT GOOD IS THAT UBISOFT? YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ COMPANY.

"heh yeah I'll just play The Walking Dead games around Halloween, It'll be good. Zombies, that'll be Halloween spirit type game". Yeah real good call, this will be like Halloween fun, definitely not heavy and depressing. Super fun.

Remaking/Remastering an old game by replacing beloved nostalgic retro graphics with awful ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and then charging 50 dollars for it= NO. BAD. ♥♥♥♥ OFF.

Enhancing an old game with options like rewind, CRT filter, art gallery/museum, but leaving the game intact and charging twenty bucks for it= YES. DO THIS. KEEP DOING THIS.

I don't need to see any more. It's a bunch of stupid teenagers with annoying personalities. The ♥♥♥♥ they say is so stupid and obnoxious. You have to walk everywhere at a snails pace. The writing is like some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for tweens like a live action Nickelodeon show for tweens, where everything everyone says has to be some sassy "clever" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, which probably is meant to be fun, but nah. A couple of the characters have been so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying that I hate them immediately, like they are already beyond salvation. It's probably FOR teenagers, but so is Life is Strange 1 and that felt more organic and less annoying, even though I am not the demographic. I just can't give a ♥♥♥♥.

Also dude it's hilarious going from just finishing The Walking Dead Telltale S1 and a little into S2 to try this, like the difference is night and day from super believable and realistic characters to this crep

Update: okay ♥♥♥♥ it, i'm gonna finish it. I paid 2 dollars for it and it's 9 hours long, but I'll finish it because I think maybe these kids are going to get murdered, and some of the zoomer actresses they picked are pretty hot, like every woman so far has been hot, but he mo cap is all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up so it's like some weird uncanny valley type of hot, but they're still good to go. Plus David Arquette is in the credits and so is Ted Raimi, but whatever. I'm just saying MAYBE it's worth two dollars if you like hot girls and possibly teenagers getting murdered

I got this for free, and I haven't really used it, so I will just leave a story about when I was 12 in 1998, when I found a copy of RPG Maker for PSX for sale for $7 in a Gamestop. I was really into JRPGs to where it was most of what I played when I was that age, and I very excitedly took the used game to the counter, smiling, because I was thinking about my own game. I even remember there being some kind of contest in EGM or something. I had $20 so I could afford to eat at the food court and to buy the game. Yes! Then, with a smile I placed the game on the counter to pay for it, and the 20 something year old guy at the counter, with a sneer said "you're not gonna make an RPG". Why? Just because he was a douchebag. He was right. It was too confusing for me, and my friend wanted to try it so I let him "borrow" it, and he never gave it back.

But still, I wanted to tell my RPG Maker story, and I want to say I hope that guy still works at Gamestop, a fate worse than death. I am into gamedev though, so maybe I'll make an RPG some time.
