Great story, great music, great fun!

I absolutely recommend this game

Full disclosure, I got the game for free with my PC.
Overall if you go in expecting a 10 hour or so campaign, you'll be fine.
The gameplay itself is fun, and I really enjoyed! Especially considering the reviews came back pretty negative.
Postgame wise there isn't a whole lot going for it. But otherwise it's a pretty fun campaign!
Wait till it goes on sale.

Beautiful soundtrack, touching story, great characters and humor, all wrapped in a retro RPG feel.
Amazing artwork within the 16 bit artsyle, was very impressed!
You'll have the music in your head for ages, it's so lovely, and matches the story and characters perfectly!
In short, get this game!

If it was released as a game other than a "Civilization" title, I would have cut it some slack
But compared to Civ 5, not the best
Sure it adds a few things, but its just not civ.
Depending on how rising tide goes I might change my opinion of the game.
But until then, I cant really say much more

First played an EXTREMELY early version of this at insomnia about 1-2 years ago. Remember thinking "I must buy this!!!!". Best purchase EVER MADE. You are talking HOURS of fun. And if you have friends over, its one HECK of a party game.
