For years I've played FIFA Player Career and I finally had enough with this year's version. I got tired of scoring 60+ goals a season on max difficulty even with sliders. I've been curious about FM recently, watched a few YouTube videos about it and decided to give it a try when it went on sale. I have over 200+ hours and I am hooked. I'm 6 seasons in and can't get enough. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of football/soccer. At first I thought it would be way too much to manage every aspect of a club from coaching, scouting, training, man management, transfers, media relations, etc. But I enjoy it all. I'm just as invested in my manager career as I am in my real life support of my teams. I'm just as content to try and find the perfect signing as I am managing tactics and subs during a match.

2 fun side notes. Playing FM was started to increase my understanding of the tactics and management of the game more and more and has giving me a greater appreciation when watching matches. And secondly, I've found the role playing aspect of being a head coach to be just as fun as playing the game (managing, signings, etc). While press conferences and player interactions can get repetitive, its fun to try and answer them as your character would in these situations. And the same goes for jobs. from getting fired, to being offered another job and turning it down to stay loyal, or figuring out when its time to move on to bigger and better challenges.

Been a fan of the series since Fallout 3. I skipped on this game for years because of all the negative reviews. But after having fun with The Outer Wilds and replaying New Vegas, I bought this on a whim when it was on sale. I was wowed by the graphical improvements and was sucked in by the story. But the game quickly lost its luster when it came to base building and food/water management. I was willing to participate in the gather and crafting aspect, but just to do so I had to spend too much time worrying about food and water; not to mention the reworked rad system (reduction in health). On top of that, every 2 out of 3 log-ins, my camp would be relocated due to other player's placement and I would have to find an alternate location. Bethesda lost their way with this one with the move to multiplayer servers, micro-transactions, and changes to gameplay. I can’t bring myself to finish the campaign to see the rest of the storyline. Was it too much to ask to continue on the Fallout 4 path instead of trying to remake the wheel?

I played this game when it launched and loved it. 12 years later, I recently replayed it rather thoroughly after I finished The Outer World. Even in 2022, this game still holds up and kept me sucked in and entertained the whole time. I even bought a few of the DLCs I didn't have and played through those. If you still haven't played this game and you love shooter RPGs, you need to pick this up on a Steam sale and play it. Also, if you are thinking of picking up Fallout 76, skip it and replay 3, New Vegas, and/or 4 instead.

Early Access Review
A group of my friends bought this game with the intention of playing together and killing all the bosses. It started out great, we all thought it was a really cool take on survival and gather game with a new fun way to beat the game. We stuck with it for about 3 weeks before we slowly started losing interest. We only got through 3 of the bosses before it got to be too much work to gather the necessary supplies for everyone to progress to fight the next boss. Game play-wise, It does have something for everyone. I really enjoyed the building and engineering as well as the story. I would recommend this to someone who really likes this genre and can play for 100s of hours. For me, I just don't have that kind of time anymore for these types of games. If only a game like this came out 15 years ago when I had that kind of time, I'd be all over it.
