I have looked through the reviews for this DLC addition with the best girl in the Senran Kagura franchise and I believe this to be the only one that will describe the story aspects of this. To those who are pondering if the Miyabi DLC will increase the enjoyment you will experience in this game, despite my PFP and entire profile showing bias towards Miyabi appreciation, I will have to say no. I can only imagine people replaying missions with all characters available to get 100% achievements, so free play missions with Miyabi is not worth hiding behind a paywall. However, there is an entirely new story for the leader of Hebijo's past in this as well. Was it as appealing as it may have sounded in the "ABOUT THIS CONTENT" section? Simply put, no it wasn't. The implications in the story cutscenes after the repetitive Burst: Re-Newal gameplay formed a lot of plot holes and seemed as if they rushed and poorly told a story they made incredibly relevant in later events and a whole game later in the timeline (Estival Versus). This may have been done just to get both Yumi and Miyabi into a game centered on Hanzos and Hebijos (Crimson) pasts, but there was a glimmer of hope in what could have been. If you wish to experience the story, I would recommend just looking it up and watching it there. I personally bought it with high hopes and to have a full set of stories for this game, but all I was left with was me playing through the game and constantly asking myself questions about why things heavily focused on were never brought up again in later installments. But on the bright side, Miyabi on a newer engine.
