Game is fun early on but becomes incredibly boring not too long in, with the only thing making you come back is the fear of missing out on new cars which are just cars that have already been in the previous games for the most part, once that subsides you won't be playing this game again. For some reason the developers think that adding more cars is an excuse for making a lackluster and boring story with no depth to progression. The games don't change from one another, if you want to try it get it on game pass or on a huge discount otherwise it's simply not worth the money.

The multiplayer in the game is horrible and not fun, in the open world people disappear constantly and convoy system doesn't work properly. Map sucks and isn't fun to drive around with only one decent drift mountain that barely passes as a good drift area. AI cheats at higher difficulties breaking the laws of physics in front of you and having infinite grip allowing it to accelerate through corners.

Cars all pretty much feel the same. If I want to make an older car capable of s1 class I have to add a ♥♥♥♥♥ looking front splitter and rear wing that every single other car will have with no variety being added even to this day. In regards to meta tuning there are upgrades that are more PI effiecient than others making you never want to pick those upgrades, as a result of this only a couple engines should ever be used because all the other ones just suck.

Early Access Review
For £40 its a massive waste of money. Its a massive disappointment that we waited 8-9 years for. No improvement on the combat of M&B or any changes what so ever its just the same stuff for more money and updated graphics. Sure it adds a couple of new features such as smithing, skill trees. You have to rent a server for money to play with friends unless you want other people in it (The game is £40). 4 Gamemodes in the game and it took 8 years, deathmatch 50v50. Siege, Skirmish, Captain (6v6) which are not very fun and just moshpits. The Campaign can be fun at times but there is no improvement to the settlements and they are just as boring as ever to walk around. Still no running in the game so you have to slowly trowel past terrain. The game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wank and just a graphics upgrade for £40. DO NOT BUY. Just get the old mount and blades and get some mods its way more fun that this tripe.

GRAPHICS 8/10
//////////////////
Graphics in Napoleon Total War are very nice and they have aged well and they are a considerable improvement over Empire Total War. graphics still hold up to this day and are not an eyesore at all. Infantry Uniforms the UI how the units look and flags all look great in this game. The only problem I might have with the graphics are some of the physics on the flags.
SOUND 8/10
////////////
Sound in Napoleon Total War is also very good. Cannons balls and infantry making volleys at the enemy sound epic in this game and the music gets very intense during combat which also adds to the experience.
CAMPAIGN 7/10
//////////////////
The Campaigns lack a lot in size and yes there are multiple. The Standard Campaign taking place in Europe which enables you to play as the coalition armies or napoleon's army. The Italian Campaign and Egypt Campaign these campaigns are more fleshed out than most total war campaigns however they lack scale. However this isn't necessarily a bad thing because of the Era
GAMEPLAY 9/10
///////////////////
The Gameplay is great for a fan of the era like myself however I have heard that some people don't exactly like the game as much due to it's nature however you know what you are getting when buying a game more focused on guns rather than swords or katanas.

CONCLUSION 8.5/10
///////////////////////////////////

I love Napoleon Total war and play it frequently it is a game that is still relevant with players still playing it. I love the sound design of the game and the graphics of the game which add to the experience of infantry standing in lines firing at each other. In multiplayer the game is amazingly fun and there is a huge amount of strategy within it and I love testing real life strategies used at the era in the game. The gameplay is just great in my opinion. I highly recommend anyone who loves the era to get the game and anyone who doesn't to still try the game out atleast. The game is a huge improvement over Empire and the AI is also considerably improved.

I recommend the game and give it a score of 8.5/10

My favourite RTS Game, I love the controllibality of the soldiers, I love how you can do really sneaky operations in mulitplayer and you also can get direct control if you buy the iron fist dlc although it is on the more expensive side for what you get. I love the vehicle gameplay and how every house and nearly every object can be ran over by a tank or destroyed.

One of the bad points is the AI and im not talking about the AI in Multiplayer that you can add using the Airborne DLC which is really good, Im talking about the actual squad AI which does destroy sandbags if its a vehicle and the paths that vehicles and infantry take are also not the most efficient. AI nearly always has to move to throw a grenade even when in throwable range so I prefer to do it using direct control but it is a bummer if you don't have the dlc and a few other minor things.

Overall in my opinion the game is great but needs some improvement in the Squad AI field. I really recommend that you pickup the game and one or both of the DLC. My final rating is 9/10. I love the game and when there's no one around to play multiplayer with I like to play the Campaign Missions and the editor which is incredibly fun.
