I was very likely to give this a recommendation if it was just a new skin on warband but with the new systems Taleworlds has been teasing. It is not this. Combat, while still feeling familiar, feels incredibly meaty now. The new sound design really hypes you up for a cavalry charge. The new graphics engine is as good as you can hope for with a team this size, and the game runs fairly well. Playing it on opening day I have only had one crash, and I'm sure this game will be worked on and developed for a long time. I can't wait to see what mods are created for this as well.

edit: as expected, roughly 10 hours after release the crash I had was patched

This is awful. I have a 1080ti and it has crashed in the same spot for me 5 times in a row. This spot takes approximately 25 minutes to get into. Don't give this terrible company your money until they
A. start releasing pc on time

or

B. Charge us much less money for having to wait 4+ months

or

C. Fix your broken content.

I have played literally every monster hunter up until this point on the clearly superior platforms like switch and 3ds and never had any crashing problems. It's just too bad that I'm on the clearly inferior platform PC, or at least Crapcom thinks so.

The mods are awesome, especially calamity and thorium, and the game is still updated.

Modding is the lifeblood of pc. First you make us wait for the game so you can triple dip with consoles, then you disable mod ding. Boo take two, and boo Rockstar for not standing up for your product.
