Android booty, great gameplay. Great graphics and a great story line, albeit rather depressing.

Only found 1 gamebreaking glitch but was unable to reproduce it. That said, one of the best games i've played this year.

Good game, however.... It was talked up a lot, I expected a lot more out of it than I recieved. That said, I would recommend it. I will admit this game got me on edge had me paranoid out in the woods and waiting for something to happen, and while it built the tension very well, it never-the-less failed to deliver. It starts you off with a failing relationship due to adult onset dementia in your wife, a truly terrifying thing. You end up taking a job in Yellowstone as a watchout for fires. Your first few days have you exploring and dealing with troublesome teens, but soon a darker more malignant feeling descends upon your area of the park. With someone- or something- seemingly watching your every move, soon you're entangled in a seemingly complex and terrifying conspiracy. All the while a wildfire rages, coming ever closer and threatening your very life.

All in all the graphics do very well in building a beautiful landscape, you hardly see any human models, so it's hard to judge them on what is given, they seem a bit offputting, but you're in the wilderness for 98% of the game, so it hardly matters. You quickly learn your way around the park, roughly half way through the game, you'll hardly need your map anymore. Story wise, I found the game a tad lacking, however if you don't go in with as high of expectations as I did, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, I know I did.

Final judgement: Buy it if it falls below -25%. You'll enjoy it.

Being a man who loves a good story, I can tell you I've heard quite a few tall tales. This game personifies and utilizes all those techniques and uses it to create it's own charmful story. One of revenge, albeit with a lighter tone. The ending is one to remember. Onto gameplay though, the actual running and gunning isn't super memorable, yet it's still quite good. With 3 specs that you can follow, a dual pistol wielding bad***, a rifleman or a shotgunneer. all add decent perks and bonuses, so all seem viable. The Dueling system is at times incredibly frustrating, yet at the same time has a great charm to it. listening to the MC's monologue as you stare down your foe(s), it really adds a real feel of tension up until the climax of the duel. All in all I'd highly recommend purchasing the game, doubly so if on sale. I purchased it on sale figuring it would sit in my unplayed backlog for ages, but after firing it up just once it had me hooked.

an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. After episode 3 booze is needed if you have a heart. I'd recommend buying on sale, but even if purchased for full price it's easily worth it. Great story, Main chars are great, and one hell of a twist. It will keep you on your seats edge and the tone is really set around episode 4. Maybe even 3 if you're not drunk. The game will knock you off your feet, trust me.

Great story, fun to read. Characters are pretty decently written to boot. The ending is pretty awesome, but a total cliffhanger for episode 2. Hope to see episode 2 on steam someday.

Early Access Review
Barely released and it's already one of my favorite games in my library. With only 3 maps, 4 perks, 7 characters, and 4 weapons per perk, it's a bit bare, but Tripwire is already showing promising new content that should be added soon. Very few glitches are present at this time, but I expect more to pop up as more content is released. Looking forward to additional content and I expect to put hundreds of hours into this.
