Maplestory is the END ALL, BE ALL for modern day MMORPGs!

FFXIV? BORING!!
World of Warcraft? NEVER PLAYED!
Runescape? More like I want to ESCAPE having to play RUNEscape

With MapleStory, published by NEXON, you can expect to be dime and quartered into paying THOUSANDS of dollars to get a semblance of satisfaction by eventually being able to kill one of the EASIER bosses. You'll NEVER reach endgame, and even if you do by just GRINDING IT OUT, you won't have the DAMAGE for higher level areas.

It really is the whole kit and caboodle when it comes to MICRO transactions.
But most of the time you'll be spending at least $50 to MAYBE get ONE good item self scrolled well enough to kill chaos zakum. But WHY DO THAT when you can just buy mesos for $5 a bil when most end-game items sell for 20 bil or MORE if they're scrolled well.

That's only like $100 - $200 per item!!!!

I've been playing this game since I was 14 and now i'm 26, so needless to say, it is a very good game.

Steam says 3,000 hours, but I just started playing off steam VERY recently.

11/10, would HIGHLY recommend.

This game will blow up your computer.

I can't play this game on the lowest settings with my 3080 because it takes up 86% of my GPU and heats it up to 180 degrees. One of the most poorly optimized games maybe ever. Not sure why there aren't any other reviews talking about this. Two friends I was trying to play with had the exact same experience.

Unplayable.

Constantly running into soft locks, hard locks and random crashes. I can't even progress anymore because the game crashes every 1 - 3 minutes halfway into the game.

Cute game with cute graphics with cute characters where nothing ever goes wrong. :)
Except for the pizza man's handwriting when you decide to work part time for him. That's not ok.

Wuppo's a very free-roamy game with cutesy art along with a very easygoing soundtrack. There are a variety of bosses and challenges packed inside the game waiting for you to face them.
I enjoyed collecting film strips and reading into the backstory of the world I was in (along with hilarious NPCs that threw their two cents in every now and again).

There are so many hidden secrets in this game, its almost impossible to find them all on your first playthrough. You can challenge yourself with INSANE mode, or just kick back during normal mode.
The enemies in the game aren't repetitive, and all the boss fights are pretty unique. You can tell the developers put a lot of hard work into this game.

You also have an insanely large inventory, so you'll most likely never run out of room during your adventures. With that, there are a good handful of hats to collect in the game to customize your character whenever you please.

The game's overall smooth controls make it very nice to move around in. (I often found myself jumping all over the place whenever I got the chance because it was honestly really satisfying seeing a little blob do sick backflips).
The game also pays attention to small details such as kicking rocks around as you walk past them, knocking over dishes if you jump around them, etc, so that's kind of a big deal.

One of my favorite parts of the game is Wonder Splenk. Its literally a theme park. You don't need to go there to progress through the story, however, there's no reason to pass it up. At Wonder Splenk, you can go on rides, get your fortune told, and play mini games. Be careful though; venture too far out into the sea and you'll be greeted by.. well, that's for you to find out. IF YOU DARE.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone that likes platformers, quirky stories, and / or challenging boss fights.
So take out your gumgum gun and get ready for a trilling adventure filled with Wums and other cute, small creatures!
