Ok so I pre-ordered this game, full of hype and expectation.......only problem : I was expecting GTA in Cyberpunk-setting. That led me to be let down initially. I am very fond of both RPG and Open-world games, but I was not expecting this hybrid.
Along with there being a lot of bugs, especially in the enviroment and physics, and there are still a bit too many identical twins in the streets. S ended with me putting the game away after a while, and let it rest.
A few weeks ago I picked it up again, and started a fresh, just completed the main storyline and a lot more...........but there is still so much I havent done.
And wow!! I cannot shake the feeling that it is not so much the game that has changed, but more my expectations the second time around.
I had a real good time so far, and the story is amazing. The game really pulls you in, and I cannot wait to see how much work they have put in in the next DLC/patch.

Im playing the game on a high end rig, so Raytracing and all is turn on, and it is just a beauty. Not having any problems with chrashes or the like.

In its current state I would highly recommend this game to people looking for a good story, open world first-person RPG.

Having been a gamer from the age of 6 ( I am now 44) I have periods where computergames bore me. Somehow though, I always end up finding something to rekindle the flame. PUBG was one of these games. The game is annoying with all its cheaters and desync and bad GUI, but WWWOOOOOWW this game has great core. The tempo, gunplay and general feel and ambiance is unrivaled in my book.
The game might be a bit of a hard learning curve if you start as a new player these days, but maybe skillbased matchmaking can remedy some of that.
No other game gives me 120 heartrate in the endgame, but this one does. I usually have to take a break after a win or a 2. place sue to the surge of adrenalin.
I really hate to love this game, because sometimes it can be sooooo bad, but then suddenly it shines like a diamond every now and then.
Might be hard, but rewarding for those who stay the course,

Ok....this game is clearly not done, but HEY I am having a bundle of fun! There are so many mechanics in this game and I am discovering it little by little, but it is working very well so far. It is not too easily accessible and it might put some people off just by the lower pace of things, but in my book it is doing everything right. This has the potential to be what Dayz should have been.....it has already surpassed that I guess.

And for all the complaints on optimization and chrashes????!!!! what the heck...read the splash screen and take a knee!

Great game!! It takes some cognitive activity and some patience, so its just not for everyone......thank god

Ok I just had to write this little notice before logging off.
Just had a few super quality hours of gaming in this game with a bunch of incredible ppl. Early days, but great fun. Loads of work remaining, but huge potential and great ppl on the servers. Finally a game that promises to bring small scale tactics on a realistic base back......just dont tell too many ppl about this little gem in the rough.

I am having a bit of trouble accepting the advice that I need to upgrade my GPU. Fair enough the 2xSLI Titans are getting on in age, but I still think they will be more than adequate.

But whattdahey, wont be able to afford Vive or Occulus anyway with those pricetags so who cares.

*Obviously I cared because I startet reading up on this and, multi-gpu setups are tested only if you put the "-multiplegpu"alternative in the starting alternatives for the program.

Once that was in my Intel I7 3930, and 2xSli Titans passed, without any overclocks

Got a High fidelity score of 7.6

Fiddled a little with the Titan clocks and a mild Cpu OC and I got the Very high fidelity score at 8.2
