This game isn't a 'go at your own pace' mood so much as 'choose your own experience' one. It's saturated with choices and bereft of consequence. The creator designed the game with the intention of 'chill' in mind, and he nailed it.
Farming, mining, fishing, learning the ropes of the game, growing with the town and it's people, etc. With enough splashes of random to perk up your curiosity now & then. This is a game that's going to stick with you, simply because there's so many 'little things' to appreciate in this game to create valuable happy memories and dish out that sweet serotonin.

Absolutely delightful game that sucks you in. Definitely has the feel of a Ghibli film mixed in with roleplaying and even creature collecting. Game comes off as simple feeling and sluggish for a while, but grows into a much more complex combat system that rewards proper gear and skills/spells usage. The Wizard Companion is a narrative in and of itself but it's certainly a 'read as you go' thing if you want. And if you like short sweet stories this game is chock full of warmly written side quests. Overall this game is a is a joyful experience that will fill you with cheer.

Absolutely addictive gameplay with endearingly adorable characters. The entire layout of the game draws a sort of wholesomeness to the playerbase, it's nigh impossible to find anyone being toxic in this game. The matches are snappy and short, and even being mindlessly hopelessly unskilled won't deter your ability to be entertained by this catch.

I never want to play this game again. The story it laid out for me sounded all too real and left a dent in my already fragile sense of dread.
In the off chance I would play through something that would help me understand my problem better, I found that I may just be off the deep end and I could be at risk of losing it all again on simple whims. And all the improvements I've made already are almost non-existent. I know my experience can and may very well be different from what I read, but it's left its mark all the same...
This game is good, very good at detailing depression if I have to say so, and if you want to know what it's like I'd say this works. But it's something you have to really take seriously...
