I'm an avid digimon fan regarding the games, and this a "good" game when comparing it to digimon games from the last 10 years, because most of them are terrible so the bar is very low. Sadly this game got boring real fast, after 5 hours it's just more of the same, there is no immersion for me personally.

As a lifelong BattleTech / MechWarrior fan who grew up immersed in the novels and deep lore of both the Inner Sphere and the Clans, I’ve been consistently disappointed by most MechWarrior PC releases over the past two decades. Many have felt shallow, unfocused, or simply failed to capture what made the universe special in the first place.

That said—credit where it’s due.

Despite being a long-time critic of Piranha Games (purely out of love for the franchise and frustration with how it’s been handled), MechWarrior 5: Clans – Wolves of Tukayyid genuinely surprised me. It was an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

MechWarrior 5: Clans is the closest any game has come to feeling like reading the novels—fully immersed in the Clan Invasion and the pivotal battle of Tukayyid. The atmosphere, pacing, and narrative weight finally align with the source material in a way that respects long-time fans.

The last time I felt this level of immersion in a MechWarrior title was MechWarrior 3, particularly the Pirate’s Moon expansion back in 2000—and that’s high praise.

My only real gripe is that the graphics for mechwarrior 5 would be better served more grainy with reduced contrast, i'm not a fan of mildly cartoony graphics. Aside from that, the story was a genuinely great experience.

My expectations were low—but they were exceeded.

Score: 9/10

When dayz released it was a mess of a title, the mod was better optimised and less buggy. Now after a decade the title is actually very fun to play, it has been my go to title for the last 12 months for that adrenaline rush that only a few titles can achieve. Do i recommend this title? Yes. Does it take a good 100+ hours to understand and really enjoy? Yes.

This will be a great game, coming from a gamer who is very cautious in purchasing EA titles.

So it's an isometric CRPG very similar to "Fallout Tactics / Jagged Alliance", but it feels like it might have more depth than those titles (over-time).

It's in Alpha states so of course there are bugs and issues, but under all that the game looks amazing. The dev is very active on the forum and speaks to the community with respect, helping people move through any issues they're having, releasing an on the fly patch for game breaking bugs within hours of release.

This game has so much potential , and has been made out of passion, and i rarely get excited for EA titles as they always fall short, but this is a game which can go all the way.

If you want to help build an amazing final product by helping squash bugs and help the testing process, then buy it. The game is very playable for most people and has hours of content. It needs some tweaks and polish but it's very enjoyable and reminds me of starting up Fallout 2 for the first time.

Purchased it due to all the positive reviews and i assumed it would have the similar appeal like "rimworld" mixing casual game-play with deep rpg/strat elements.

It's not what i expected, don't get me wrong it's a good title but it fails in parts which make it not enjoyable for myself.

1) UI is poor, no shortcuts to micromanage and once you get more bases, resources and skills, it becomes tedious and a chore.

2) very repetitive game-play, to a point were i mashing the same key to grind resources, a lot of titles are like this but it makes it very boring.

It's a shame i don't enjoy it as i know it's a good game but it just does not do it for me.

I have played all the TW series titles over the years and generally i love most of the titles, although this by far is the most poorly optimized of them all, it has potential to breath new life into a stagnating franchise but it needed at least 3 more months of polish.

I cannot reccommend this title in it's current state, as it feels unfinished.

Here is why:

*Animations are glitchy on map and in battle.
*Intense game lag, very low FPS with "Triple" SLI GTX 970s / i7 4ghz
*Black screens / lock ups when in very large battles for seconds.
*Game crashing.
*Randomly units become unresponsive.
*Battle views change without movement or pushing any bindings.
*Campign map glitches and freezes, advisor spams and locks up game.

While i like the idea and direction of the franchise have taken (TW/Warhammer), although as their polish of the product is poor, all their recent titles have needed 3-12 months of patching to become stable and playable, this is no exception and probably the worst experience i have had in regards to playability of a TW title.

I'm surprised after so many released titles in unplayable states they would learn from previous mistakes and do more testing, sadly this has not occurred.

SEGA pushed CA to release Rome II before it was ready, they have done the same for Warhammer. It's not rocket science to notice it.

Game does not launch, had not been working for quite a while, no information about a patch fix from the devs.

If you enjoy Fallout 1/2/Tactics, Jagged Alliance, Shadowrun, Underrail, basically any Isometic gaming experience this is a must have!

The beta thus far is quite polished (for an early beta) and has at least 15 hours of content. Purchase and be a part of the beta , making this game even better for the community, head to their website and post your suggestions and bug related information. Between Wasteland2 and Underrail the Iosmetic fanboys will have a lot of enjoyment coming their way once these two gems hit full release. Couldn't recommend this game anymore highly~!

Love this game, best buy I have made via Steam in a long time. It's a mixture of wasteland, fallout, and jagged alliance. If you enjoyed any of them titles you will enjoy this one. The game can be quite hard but that is why I like it so much, it does not hold your hand and makes you think and use different strategies to get through to where you need to go next. Lot of customization character wise and so many different ways to play the game per your character build(s). highly recommend and it's only in alpha state.
