Game is slow but doesn't feel like the maps were designed to be. Story is flimsy at best and no characters are compelling. The game's not terrible but I finished on normal and have no desire to play any more, not sure what everyone else got out of the game that I didn't.

On launch you get a game that's feature complete and almost bug-free. Playing around with different builds is a lot of fun and big robots are neat. It's not the perfect game (for me) but I enjoy it greatly.

The game has recently had a severe downgrade, not just in graphics but in features/scope as well. I can live with the worse graphics, but this game carries a lot less value after the changes. I'm not exactly thrilled to play a VR mil-simcade with audio that is this flat and non-directional.
The developers say that they're working on bringing back some of the removed features, but those changes aren't in the game yet and in the game's current state I would not recommend playing this game.

I can deal with the weird story and characters, I can deal with the weird physics to an extent, I can deal with the music, I didn't have any real performance issues, but the default control scheme is awful (left and right bumpers to shift?) and cannot be rebound. That plus the wonky driving physics (I am aware that you can switch drift mode from gas to brake, it doesn't help) makes this a refund for me.
I just want a basic arcade racer, but playing this is just grating.

Easy to pick up and fast-paced enough for some casual play. There's enough leeway to play it casually or really sweat it out, and most of the community eventually opts to sweat. Devs are responsive to legitimate criticisms to the game, implementing well thought out changes and ignoring kneejerk responses. Mind the community, it is occasionally toxic and will vote out any commander for no reason, but for the most part I enjoy who I play with.

Very fun and visceral game, with the devs making regular adjustments and improvements. The game was definitely not good before launch, and I am glad that they delayed it, as it was released as a solid (if a bit buggy, though this is definitely getting better) title with good replayability and a unique feel.
