What i love about this game:
+ Fun to explore
+ Making a factory that is optimized yet aesthetically pleasing.
+ No rush to unlock the next tier.
+ There's always something to upgrade, optimize or make.
+ Having a clean conveyor line going into machines that goes into another conveyor line toward another machine and so on and so forth, and all of them has the exact unit of item need per minute to not overflow to be stagnate is just chefs kiss.
+ ADA

What i don't like
- Cant lower or turn of the volume of the radiation sound without lowering the environment sound.
- The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spiders. i know there's an arachnophobia option but i didn't turn it on cause i'm "smart" like that.

This game offers a different type of apocalyptic scenario, rather than your standard zombies or virus take over the world thing.
It is as the game states a quite apocalypse, except when the part when your main character gets mauled by a bear, attacked by a pack or wolves, rammed by a moose and/or sprains an ankle or wrist or both and she screams from the top of her lungs, and as you try to stand up and run away you get attacked again and she screams again and then game over. You just lost your 300+ game run!

10/10 would get mauled by a bear again!

I just finished the game with all achievements done and 62 hours in-game.
English is not my primary language so do forgive me if I get anything wrong with this review, but for anyone whose interested in the game. There is a lot of things to say.

As a lot of the reviews says this game does not hold your hand on a lot of things, and yes it's true and it’s also grindy. It just gives you enough info on the quest to get you thinking and figure it out on yourself which I find is not a bad thing, it's actually fun.As you play later on the game, it does get easier with more and more things to explore and to do, which makes it quite enjoyable for me. You can actually finish a lot of quests with just buying the items they need, but you still need to be a jack of all trades sorta guy. So with that.

The grind - This is a grindy game, there is a lot of chopping trees, mining rocks and iron just so you can progress in the game. Which I found not that bad, it’s not too grindy, but enough if you work hard the rewards are worth it. I did wish somewhere along the line there would be an item (like in The forest) to carry more wooden logs or stone blocks with only a few trips back.

Energy system - the energy systems is okay, there are alot of food items to refill your energy and get you through the day. I did hope there would be some way to upgrade your bed to something better to get more energy every time you sleep.

Scenery and dialogue - The scenery is very beautiful in this game. Dialogue is funny with a lot dark humor. The village is also fun to explore. you know short but fun. it gives you a lot of want you need.

Farming - The farming here I found a bit annoying, trying to put fertilizer on every single plot, then putting seeds clicking the fertilizer then clicking again to pick a seed. And doing it again for the next 50+ plots you placed.

Dungeon - While I found the dungeon fun, the fighting systems need to be fleshed out bit. Maybe not make it so the armor and the weapon is in the backpack but on the protagonist itself and not take up inventory space. More dungeon level cause 15 is too short.

The graveyard - this is the main aspect of the game, it’s fun for me harvesting body parts, making the graveyard pretty, or just throwing the body in the river if you don’t want to deal with it, which is hilarious. I can see why they added a quest later for you to give carrots for bodies cause sometimes you want to just explore other aspect of the game while not being overburdened with all the bodies pilling up.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Improvements
  • Log or stone carriers - as I said earlier cutting down multiple trees or mining stone block and transferring them back to your home is tedious, Specially later on with the merchant on the crates! transferring them to town with 10 at time is too annoying for me as I do make bulk of those. A sled possibly that you can push or pull whilst carrying multiple logs or stone on it would be a great addition.
  • Warpstone -Maybe adding some warpstone that you can build scattered all over the map for easier traveling. Like a warpstone to the beach, lighthouse and specially the quarry it can be an end game thing.
  • Donkey upgrade- having a choice or a chance to get two bodies by upgrading the donkey cart. or even buying the donkey off from the one that "owns" him. Even better is actually buying a donkey for your self for transferring those annoying crates.
  • House upgrade - maybe a better bed as I said giving more than 3 energy every sleep, I know there's food items but since
after the ending you do actually need to upgrade the bed for the two of you. (saw it coming)
  • Holding "F" - making 30 items for example on an anvil is too much, can't we have something like clicking a different button to automatically do as much as you can with the energy you have?
  • Collecting sand or finishing crafting - maybe this is better in bugs but i do i have problems with this for example : I’m making 20 nails after you've finish crafting, there's a chance the items you've crafted pushes you farther, which you have to get closer again the re-craft it and re-hold "f". Happens a lot when I’m collecting sand, stone blocks, marble blocks and iron blocks
  • Equipments - while i dont mind having the axe or shovel in my inventory, but I do mind the armor taking up space. Since there are a lot of loot in the dungeon i gets full easily.Having a diffrent slot for them in the character's menu would be nice and actually seing the armor you're wearing.
  • Backpack upgrade ? maybe?

Bugs
  • Ending-After i finished the game and after the cutscene it exited me out of the game, to the main menu. When I went back in my save those black border on the top and bottom are still there. [/spoier]
  • Priest - There's this bug i encountered where i can redo a cut scene and i got another mirror and fork from that
  • Digging a grave- while digging some grave, a few of them i can't really dig up as it tries to go around or got to a side which there is no walking space.
  • Alchemy - Manage to encounter a bug where i tried to make 10 potion and it ate 10 of its items it needed. Couldn’t craft it anymore cause the ingredients it needed disappeared. Also crafted another potion but when i went outside there's a crafting option on one of the grave to make the potion i needed.
  • I will edit it in if I can remember anymore

[h]Final thoughts:[/h1]
Excited for future updates but
would i recommend it? 55% Yes and 45% No.

Yes cause it is enjoyable by itself, funny, with a good aspect of being a graveyard keeper. The tech tree is a great system to have, with alchemy, being a preacher, and a lot of other profession you can get. (okay, maybe that's not enough but it is enough for me)
No cause it is grindy which may not be your cup of tea, in which case you should just move on to looking for other games.
Also feels like it's not finish yet, there are stuff that are not there like The Town or the Dead ship which was a big disappointment for me.

So take it for what you want.

A very nostalgic and relaxing game.
Reminds me of when i was kid, playing Harvest Moon the whole day.
Reccomended to people who wants to relive the feeling you get when you play harvest moon for the first time and fell in love with it.
