Always love returning during winter time to play this game. Waiting for the perfect time. Choosing the hardest difficulty on story mode. Then not finishing until the end and returning the next year. Would recommend.

23 hours of gaming is how long it took me to finish this game, and I am glad, it's been a fun experience!

Great to play this game with friends, great to also play alone - the community is overall friendly and quite social!

Game get's boring/bland fast without any additional content other than the base game.

Dlc's are expensive af for most people

Most useful mod's are either outdated or are just too unstable to run to begin with in-game.

A great game, still lives the test of time, the only major issue I see is that I get random freezes in-game for 20+ seconds, and the game from time to time at that point either freezes my computer (I would have to turn it off), or it disconnects me from the match I am in.

Personally, I like the game for the most part: the gameplay is good, TEAMWORK EXISTS, aswell as an overall good atmosphere. But the crashes really kill it for me, literally, I can't play 10+ minutes without the game crashing. Every. Single. Time. Pls fix.

The game crashes at random times, very unstable. Had a few mods installed, and all of them most definitely coudln't have caused the constant crashing - I can't go to a specific area of the map without the game automatically shutting off.

Great game for playing with friends and/or big groups of 30+ players in-game, may be an older game than most currently played - but damn is this still fun to play!

EDIT 2024.06.01 Although I still wish for more people to continue to play this game, the state it is in is simply broken, derilict. #FixTF2









EDIT, 2017.11.23 The game has come a long way, so have I with it. The jungle inferno update has really been a huge boost for this game, and although it has some let-downs, like the boring/predictable contracts, and the "meh" or "okay" newly added maps, and maybe I could add some critique to the new pyro weapons and the not perfect balance changes, but I don't want to, so I'll leave it at that. Great game - hopefully more to come...

This game is just... phenomenal... Yes, it is so unique, filled with lots of content, fantastic gameplay... This game, shall forever leave a mark on me, as I've spent for months non-stop playing this game...
HOWEWER
With the introduction of Meet Your Match, as many of us can aggree, casual was a huge step for valve, since they removed something that got us hooked into tf2 in the first place - quickplay, and really, I still miss it, the casual matches literally last 2 ROUNDS...2... Why Valve, why woulld you think this would work? Anyways, it took them over 3 months to fix their ♥♥♥♥, and it hasn't yet been fully resolved. There are so many things I can complain about the current state of tf2, but in a nutshell, it just isn't the game that it used to be.
