So, Portal Knights.
The Developers, 505 Games, creators of games such as 'Payday 2' have surely made a nice exciting small RPG adventure game here.
Visually, it looks like "another Minecraft game", which, in honesty I can't lie that, yes you do mine, craft and such, but this game takes it's own look on it. With that and adding a more RPG aspect to it, it makes this game great for people who want to get into RPG games.

This game is wonderfully detailed, the aspect of the portal jumping takes a real spin onto the basic game it could of been, this feature adding in an unknown travel as each portal goes to different places, where each zone is its own biome, has own creatures, and its unique recources. The classes are simple, easy to grasp but good, admittedly they could do a more detailed skill line, or add in a variety of new classes.

This all being said however, the game is simple easy to complete. The whole fact of the AI creatures not knowing how to go around a deep hole makes it easy for mage and archer players to just "Kite them and shoot them over the hole", it's been said and done that the game can be completed with the first bow of the game.

The games Multiplayer, yeah, want to play with friends? Don't think so buddy, their Multiplayer is broken, and 505 Games are giving vague answers if they are actually fixing it.

All in all, as of right now, a good SOLO game, updates are required.

Ok, so, Evolve.
Just under 30 hours of game time and i've experienced all of what the hunters side can offer. (Not really into being the monster side :o ) I can say that it's got pretty good visuals, map designs are nice, the 4 hunter classes and 9 characters for them are done quite well, each with their own weapons and abilities.
I would say, however, this game can't really be done without communication, (unless you're the monster then be silent all you want! :D ) I've experienced some, non-communicating teams and have pulled it off successfully, but majority have been failures, so this game clearly needs the team work, so as an advisory note; play with friends, or be willing to talk to strangers. It's that simple for the hunters.

But yes, overall this game is fun, tracking down monsters/rescue/defend missions etc. Class characters - Relatively easy to unlock (1* in the 3 unique characters abilities e.g Val - 1* Sniper, 1* Tranq dart and 1* medgun = unlock of Lazerus etc etc.) per class route.
I got this for £25 (on sale at GAME) and I must say, it was very worth it in my opinion.
(Sorry i cant give any monster feedback, i'm sure others can :D )
