It is a grind but the combat is very worth it.

If you are a history person and like the medieval ages then this is the game for you! The graphics are quite good considering when it came out and there's a few bugs with the troops and path finding (Like every other total war) but don't let that get in front of the greatness of Battles/campaign. Siege battles can last for hours and can be very intense or laid back.

With the amount of mods for M2TW as well, there's endless replay-ability from Medieval Europe, to the Third age of Middle-Earth. Genuinely one of the best total wars there is, GET IT!
