I'm torn between "don't waste your money" and "support an up and coming developer" because the concept is there but the shallow level pool makes this a do not buy.

Backpack Hero is a phenomenal addition to a single-player library. It does take a while to unlock new characters (game modes) but they have a distinct feel from each other and are not just “this makes the game harder”. I do feel some game mechanics could be better explained; and I do find myself hoarding “legendary” items because they don’t sell for much but also don’t get reused(?) maybe I’m just not far enough along.

MARIO party but replace the mini games with dice combat

Only minites in did I discover that you can still pass a mission after killing the passengers in the karts. This is just the first in many extra details that they didn't have to include but took the time to anyway
