Zooming around and blowing things up feels real good, I found the highest difficulties made enemies into bullet sponges, but otherwise the game is just a delight if you enjoy smooth movement.

One of the best turn based tactics games I've played, right up there with Mario Rabbids for sheer understanding of the genre. The freedom it gives you to play, turn by turn with so much generosity and understanding is something more games could care to take note of. And the characters are so, so much fun!

Whips ass. Had to drop it down a little but the aesthetic and world building definitely carry it even if the gameplay isn't 100% what I'm into. Which is a cruisy time of feeling like a badass.

As the AI of a suit of powered armour, you are bound by your robotic laws to safeguard the human inside you, even if they're unconscious and you have to keep stretching the letter of the law to activate more of your abilities to keep him safe.

A fantasticaly atmospheric platformer, with art that's just to die for, light on characters but each is given more depth than you'd expect. Absolutely emotionally gutting in parts and the puzzles are never too fiendish that you'll slam your head against the wall in frustration.

Check it out if you dig strong female protagonists too. That's me assuming gender though, based mostly on the stellar voice work from all involved.

Remember cannon fodder? Leading Jools and Jops and RJ et al around as you fervently tried to murder the rush of enemies and blow up their spawn points? Well this is that! But you get way more upgrades and the insane vehicle bits are replaced by being able to call in close air support.

Also you'll definitely kill way, way more than the 100,000 aliens that are meant to be on the planet by about your third mission.
