Found it a little hard to get into at the beginning as it doesn't hold you hand with objectives, but once I put in a bit of time I started to really enjoy it. 6 years later it still looks good and plays well, and the leviathans are still just as terrifying...

If you've play half life 2 and episode 1, you may as well play episode 2.

It's half life 2 but in VR, and as a bonus it's free! For a game that wasn't designed to be converted to VR, it's not a nauseous experience (though I'm glad they added option to the driving parts). A good excuse to replay the classic.

Great map and puzzle design, some were headscratchers! The voice acting and script is top quality and the story fits in well with the original portal story line. I'm rather surprised this was free.

The devs have done a brilliant job remaking HL1, allowing a whole new generation to enjoy the series.

It's like a blend of Subnautica and Outer Wilds with a sprinkling of unsettling. It's got a good story and the graphics still hold up after all this time. Pretty good for a survival story teller.

I'm terrified of flower man.

It's a bit buggy and the nudity is in your face (quite literally) so if you rate story over 18 rated content then this may not quite be your game. The game is very detailed, there's a lot to learn and the HUD can get quite busy. In my own opinion, it wasn't worth the wait and I'm happy to watch some content creator play it instead if I feel I'm missing out on a great story.
