FTL is one of those games that stick with you. AAA titles come and go in an age of video game integrity's decline. The passion that produce this work is apparent, the love and details for their world is plain to anyone who plays through it. Further than all that, it does what any good art does. It urges you to dream.

If Shovel Knight came out in the early 90's, no one would be any the wiser that it's a platformer from 2014. The soundtrack is amazing, the art is fantastic, and the whimsical world in which it takes place is perfect. No disjointed ideas, a seamless work of art. Worth every single penny, and then some!
