(TLDR at the end) I've completed episode 1 and 2, and so far all I can say is this game doesn't feel as "polished" as the first game, it's an upgrade in the sense that the friend of Max is a "good person" unlike Chloe, but also a downgrade in the sense that the first episode feels super rushed and drained of any feeling for Max's friend. I honestly think the graphics and feel of the game doesn't fit with the feel that the life is strange series has going for it. In my opinion, it's not worth paying full price, wait for a sale. I'm enjoying it, but I don't feel the same pull, calling me back to play again as I did after replaying LIS1 once over.

TLDR: Story is good, but rushed, characters are likeable, graphics and animations can be weird/creepy/uncanny valley at times, get it on sale.

I Honestly can't recommend this game enough, not only is the story insane, it's intense and beautifully told. This game has made me appreciate the moments in life that not everyone gets to enjoy, just play this game, for the weird plot twists and the character development, it's addicting. Justice for Pompidou.
