Such an improvement over the original Yooka-Laylee. This is what I was hoping for, and am quite happy to give this game a positive review this time around. I will say though that the game is designed to be very easy. It would be nice if they added difficulty either to some of the puzzles/challenges or made difficulty modifiers in the settings and didn't tie them to things to equip. A mechanic I wish they used better would be the transformations. They feel very limited to what they can do/where they can be used; maybe collecting 3 paggies out of 50 at most kind of thing. But if you enjoy a beautiful, fun, causal collectathon Banjo Kazooie successor, you're in the right place.

What an enjoyable game. Art and music are fitting and exceedingly well done. Gameplay is crafted nicely and dynamically. To experience the story unfolding was a wonderful. Certainly had me captivated the entire time.

This is a solid rogue lite. Not too much story, but the gameplay loop is enjoyable to the point that it doesn't need too much story. Adds a few unique mechanics. Visually appealing with the top down perspective.

Love it. Dopamine it high. Feels good to play. Plenty to unlock. Goofy and humorous text. a 3D Vampire Survivors.

The gameplay is a blast. Fast paced and enjoyable. Items you unlock while playing are helpful and rarely useless. The rogue like aspect isn't anything too crazy though. The art style is fun. The worlds aren't terribly detailed, but that doesn't bother me. What does bother me is how bad the characters and story is. I could care little to nothing about the story and the character development and dialogue is pretty abysmal... But, gameplay carries.

Big fan of this rouge card game. Well made and very re-playable. The game is very addictive.

I do love this game. It is one of the handful choose your horror, own adventure games that is solid. The game looks fantastic, the story unfolds well, the characters are distinct and enjoyable (even enjoyable to hate like Emily... the worst lol). The biggest gripe currently would just be some bugs, but I personally haven't had any game breaking ones. Mostly just goofy things happening that weren't supposed to (like a couple assets not loading in or a don't move minigame not going away). But, the team is diligently working to patch the game. Their first major patch came out today, four days after launch. Worth the purchase, especially if you haven't seen this game yet.

I haven't beaten this game, nor did I play the original, but as it stands this game is amazing. This is just a well made game through and through. Graphics are very good, gameplay is exciting and innovative (especially for the original releasing in 2008??), story is enjoyable and paced well, and audio design is phenomenal (in particular with headphones). So far this game has been a joy to play. Excited to keep playing!

What a joy to see a FNAF game like this! The story remains true to the original source material, the art is phenomenal, gameplay is simple but fun, and there is good replay-ability.

Very solid entry into the Popgoes spinoff realm! Cute/adorable art, solid and simple game mechanics with enough challenge, and continues the unnerving story!

Kane is even going to fix the issues people have with the game by rebuilding the game ground up instead of using the completed, messy code. Legend.

100% the game in 4.8 hours. Enough length if you wanted to go for everything.
