This game is overall great with its gameplay loop and atomsphere (yes can't say much to s.t.a.l.k.e.r)

i'd wish to see the dev fixes with the crash issues (can't play the game for 15 minutes without randomly crashing or pausing the game twice crashes for some reason, and lose all my saves) if i really want to deepdive more hours into it.

Drives me mad and insane, yet im still get addicted to it like a mf.

Some fat british furry recommend me to it.

The strangest game i played of all time, truely a neuron activator.

2023 & 2024 edit (for steam awards sake) : still being the monke.

The game is too good for a Half-life 2 fan game.
The story is very nicely written.
3650 is a well designed character with good personality par with the previous game and nice extra backstory of him.
The combat still great with the same half-life 2 combat style with extra enemy variety (bullsquid returning form Half-life with a unique ability and adapted to life on Earth, so does with pit drone and gonome form Opposing Force was actually terrifying considered they designed a section specifically for the gonome) and new addition of enemies like zombie-gaunts, rebels upgraded to now have armor and long-jump.
Not really much weapon variety but is a little nice addition of new arsenals, and amazing animation for all weapons.
Boss fights really great with 3650 Clone using most of arsenals you collected throughout the game against you and Combine Advisor (optional fight but fighting it gets "good" ending anyways) using heavy props around the arena against you as it only have that attack which was described on Episode 2.
Very good level design with straightfoward direction on where you go(mostly..unless you payed enough attention).
The visual is just gorgeous as Source engine is still great even after decades.
The soundtrack is just slaps and fitting with the game's environment and combat.
Even doe the game have some issue (crashing, stairs sometimes being annoying when trying to sprint it up..ect.)
To i would say, is an amazing game for a cheap price of "Free" , i do really recommend you to play it.
*editor's note : i forgot to mention this should deserved atleast an award, or even mod of the year.

P.s to Hunt down the freeman refund : sit down and take notes because this is how you design a game/mod for a half-life universe and the "evil" fraction character personality.
