You know, it was a really good 15 minutes.
Very Artful.

I've heard many people in my 21 years of life say that this is "the greatest jrpg of all time" and other things to that affect, same with FF7, and although it took me a long time to get to this game. I finally understand why. Every moment, all characters dialogue, all feels so immaculately written, and the gameplay is fine crafted and fantastic even to this day. The game makes quite bold decisions in storytelling for SNES-era gaming, for example, a few hours in, many characters are split up from their party, and you are given a choice to pick which one to split off to and explore first, and they all eventually meet back up, it's kinda GENIUS!! And every character in this game actually has a ton of depth, and emotional heft. Terra is a wonderfully written character, and is also the closest thing this game has to a main character, and her struggles are told beautifully through the games writing. I'd say half the party members have just as much depth as Terra!! I don't even wanna go into it but FOR REAL, this game tells a GREAT STORY. The games main villain is despicable, like comically evil, and it's perfect. I can't really think of too many non mechanic things this game does wrong, other than pacing in the 2nd half (but it's really not that bad). This game is the Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band of video games, or something to that effect, it's a landmark, and i'm glad I can finally appreciate it. 10/10

It's hard to pin down exactly what I like about this game and it's prequel without a boring use of the word "Mood" or "Vibe". But there's definitely something special going on here, the music broods like some 90s ambient analog synth piece, and the art definitely takes some inspirations from Serial Experiments Lain. In fact, that anime is the closest comparison in "mood" that i have for this game. I do not want to say anything about this game's story in this review, as it's quite meager in length and telling you anything might ruin the experience. If you have an interest in short horror uhh "things", I would definitely recommend this despite it's short length. I hope the developer/writer and the artist continue to make interesting things together or just make cool things on their own, as I find myself enjoying this a bunch. 8/10

This game is so freaking good, like it's such a unique vision and it executes everything so smooth. The machine girl ost is fantastic and fits the mood of intense timed puzzle parkour. The voice acting im like 95% sure is cringey and anime on purpose and its in like the best nostalgic way like when ur 13 and watchin highschool dxd or somethin of that caliber. The visual novel gift elements are implemented nicely although some gift boxes are VERY HARD to get in levels. I love this game it was fantastic. 9/10

The only flaws this game has is that it's too short. Like not even that bad too short like if it was 20 minutes longer itd be perfect. And that the car driving parts can lag on a bit too long. The PSX look is immaculate and eerie, the soundtrack is unsettling. The plot is a little hard to follow, kinda feels like the movie memento in the way that a lot of ♥♥♥♥ was going on and switching around and i was helplessly along for the ride. The "voice acting" is pretty spooky too. It's good, it's short, and it's cheap. 8/10

Flawed masterpiece.
So many good ideas across the board it's honestly one of the most impressive gaming experiences of all time. The soundtrack is fantastic, and the story is pretty great. I would say this is probably one of the greatest games ever made but still had minor things along the way that didn't jive with me. Namely the lack of variety in the hacking minigame, and some sequences where you will go about an hour or so without being able to save. Its hard to compile all my thoughts for this game honestly but I CAN say this!!!!: NieR: Automata is worth your time!!! 9/10

Listen, getting every ending may not be worth the effort. But this game ain't half bad. Music is really good, character interactions are great, the party has very funny dialogue, and the story twist is alright. A very middling game imo but has a lot of good ideas that all went on to make nier automata amazing. 6/10

One of the most creative and mind bending experiences ever created. No other video game could feel like killer7. An on rails horror puzzle shooter made by Suda51 in 2005, known for being part of the "Capcom 5" This game truly shines as a piece of art. It also helps that despite all its crazy ideas it's still really fun to play. 9/10

Really awesome, has the best 3d sonic stages of all time. Soundtrack is comprised of all remixes but it literally doesn't matter because they all slap. Controls are pretty smooth minus when modern sonic has to do some slow 3d platforming. Game is at it's best when ur rolling around at the speed of sound fo sho'. Although it's too short I completed everything in it in like 10 hours.

Janky controls, terrible voice acting, pretty bad audio mix but fantastic soundtrack.
Somehow the game is great despite all these critical flaws. Has a lot of soul and is extremely fun.
I like the knuckles stages
