Very solid game, is quite janky and it feels like it's missing some bits, but the core game play is really fun even if it's just technically a fetch quest simulator if you think about it. Reviews for the second game make me want to only stick to this one, especially since this first game is left unfinished, but what's there is fun and done well enough to be fun. Getting it on sale was practically stealing it, it's easily worth 10-20.

Bought it for the co-op, refunded it because of the co-op.

Spawns and no-go zones are still nonsensical and quite frankly unacceptable still after all this time.

Friend and I enjoyed AoW3, and now that this had a free weekend we decided to give it a go and start up a co-op multiplayer game. In our very first game, in the very first round, the very first free city we discovered displayed a different name for the both of us. My client was correct...he was the host.

I don't understand how a game can have desync issues so severe that it can happen turn one, without any player input, AND have the host be the one who's bugging out. Going through the forums shows me that this has been an issue with the game for over a year.

It's a free weekend because it's unplayable via multiplayer, and if the game really has been having issues like this for such a long time now, they're probably struggling to get sales.

This game gives me the same vibes as Starfield.

A popular/legendary creator having the freedom to do whatever they please just to pump out something very uninspired and mediocre. I'm not falling for the loop again, especially not when it's this bland.

Can't buy or add equipment, as nothing shows up.
Giving a negative review because of it, because every mention of it in the steam discussions was left dead in the water with no responses, and i'm not going to the discord in the hopes someone answers me there. The devs should be replying to the discussions, but they don't.

Better than it used to be, but it's always been good.

Really not interested in praising chart-based balance changes.
Games continuously fall under controversy for the lack of effectiveness from such things, and this game will be no different.

Things need to be played and tested, not observed and changed. Doesn't feel like things are heading into a positive direction.
