To the moon... Yeah. this is an absolutely marvelous game. 9,5 out of 10.

Now why such a huge rating to an indie game with almost no gameplay, you may think. Well, this game made me board the feels train all the way to feeladelphia. What to say about it... I can't tell ya much about the story for it'd ruin the game experience for you, but you're a scientist with a miracle machine able to enter people's memories and alter them; and you have one simple goal: Make people's wishes come true. (at least on their memories)
Our scientist duo meets John, their patient, who has a deep desire to go to the moon, however, he himself doesnt know why. as the story unfolds, John, who the player had never even seen talk, through memories becomes a lovable character to a point you feel so much empathy towards his story and how his life unfolds that it's unbeliavable that it all came out of a little RPG maker game.
Also, Laura Shigihara's music and marvelous voice make you delve into the story even deeper (she's the girl who did the "there's a zombie on your lawn" music from PvsZ, in case you didn't know). It's a game that tackles things we deal in life. Sickness, death, despair; and you feel mislead, because you came to steam to play a game, and you end up watching a story ten times better than any of the movies you might have watched. It's a game you wonder why must it be a game in the first place. It has so little gameplay, and most of it you just don't pay enough attention for it to actually matter. But the reason you play To The Moon isn't for the gameplay, obviously.

This is certainly not just another indie game. It's a must play. It's a game that makes you wish there were more of it's genre.

8/10 - you get to play as a goat!

well, you're a goat, and apparently, someone used you as a escape goat, so you're in prision with some weird sheep and a mouse. A mouse that sometimes wears a badass wizard hat.
I'm telling you. You play as a goat. A GOAT. how awesome is that?
Ahem.
Back to the game. You're a double jumping goat that will go through mazes made with TNT against flame hurling grim reapers that will most likely have a well done goat for dinner.
The gameplay is really fun, and not really what you'd expect at a first glance. The little mouse you carry on your interdimensional goat-pocket is also really useful, and he goes around hitting switches on walls that usually throw stuff at you. And thats pretty much what he does in life.
... I'm not really being helpful.
okay, the game is one of those indie platformer gems that pops every year in your nearest steam store. This one was for me really enjoyable. I love puzzles, and I love platformers. This couldn't be much better. It's well rounded and plays well, despite being kind of short.
and then theres the doom-mode-from-hell-that-will-make-you-throw-your-controller-at-the-wall. ♥♥♥♥ that mode. good thing its free.
anyways, if you like games like braid, and you enjoy getting molested super meat boy style, this is your game.

Here, gentlemen, the best moba around.
what to say about it, hm?
well, first of all, there's absolutely no advantage for those who play the game longer, other than experience; Why do people keep playing it? well, because its fun, duh.
there is no rune system, mastery, skills, talents or whatever you get from levels, making the one who just started half an hour ago be on the same tier of the guy who's 1500 hours in (which obviously won't get matched against each other, because of the experience gap)
second, everything's unlocked: you don't have to grind or pay to play the heroes you want; you want faceless void? there you go. Lina? sure, why not. Visage? Yeah; this is the part that gets to the new players as there is just so much in the game, that god, it just comes falling on top of your head and you easily get overwhelmed.
and third, the cosmetics are avaliable for free (considering you're lucky enough). Sure, you can purchase them from the shop, but you can also get them from drops after games. Might take a while, but eventually, you'll get items.
These three things together make this game's F2P model the best ever seen, and will probably continue to be the best, considering how freemium games are right now.
And last but not least: The balance is flawless. This is a topic where most people go "but ursa is so OP! how is that balanced?". Well son, ursa may have his brute damage, alright, you touch him, you're most likely dead; But then again, you must touch him to die, and considering how slow he is, thats pretty hard. "But he can get blink dagger!". And you, can get ghost scepter, which nullifies pretty much everything that he can do. But thats in game strategy that newcomers usually don't know. Thats where the problem is:
Dota is hard.
I'm not saying just your usual level of hard, I mean HARD. You need to sink in 100 hours to start to get good at the game. That's just crazy.
But somehow, people love it. Dota, different from other games such as those FPS team deathmatches, those capture the flags, you can actually see the impact you're doing on the game, you're not just killing people randomly, you're contributing to your team's victory, because with the kill, also comes the tower, and as you defend, you know you're getting space and denying the enemy team control over your side, as well as gold.
Gold. yes, thats another cool point about dota.
After you play a match, the hero you play, the items you get, the gold you painstakingly farmed are all gone. gone: you can't go back, you can't enjoy that won match anymore, where you will have to start over again with a new hero, or the same one, if you fancy him.
And talking about heroes, there are a ton of them, and thats the main point of the game, you're almost guaranteed that you will never play with the same team line up versus each other, and even if you do, the match won't be the same.
It has nearly infinite replayability.
Well, folks, and all that for the small price of one nothing!
Now that you look at it, it does seem like a great deal, no?
And even if it isn't, what do you have to lose?
Dota. Get to it.

yo, portals, puzzles, buttons, time travelling, walking on walls, platforming and good ol' pixel graphics. This game has it all.
How about taking on a different puzzle, one that doesn't feel the same after a while?
this is, then, the game for you. this game feels like an old 8bit platformer, except that it aint: get ready to have your mind blown.
