Do you like easy, simple, fun?
If yes, do you also like some funny dialogue, some decent combat depth, but also a game that you can literally play for 5 min, have a great time, and then go do your real life bits?
If yes, finally: do you really really rally hate robots?

If yes, grab this. You wont regret it.

I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about Artemis, let me skip all that ♥♥♥♥.
And the first hour is great, exploring and working it out, but then the next 12 hours are boring as ♥♥♥♥ because you spend your time flying from planet x to planet x' that is practically the same. It has so much potential, but keeps tying to slow you down to pad out a supposedly infinte game. I get insanely bored within 20 minutes, and then go play something fun.
Only get this if you're the kind of person who built a gun to destroy god in minecraft, and even then, don't expect anything like that in this game.

It could be saved so easily if 80% of the variation you see on some planets was spread out across all of them. But because it's not, I promise you, the first 3 planets you go to will quickly become indistinguishable in your mind, and you'll realise that the big hopes you had for this game are not possible.

Like most people, Halo is a game from my childhood that defied a portion of my life. Being able to go back and play it again, now in better quality, and with more years under my belt, how does it hold up.
The story has always been golden, that's not changed.
Nor has the most of it.
Especially the multiplayer, and that's sort of the issue. It feels slow, and plodding. It's not deigned for pc player levels of skill, and so with that, the gap between casual and pro is wider than ever. Precision weapons, which on consoles were harder to land shots with, and so had a high damage because of it, are now weapons of mass destruction. You can be killed in spawn before you reach cover. The game needs some fine tuning multiplayer wise to be great, as right now its ok. One player can just find a spot where they can't really be seen and dominate the match (see the left side hill on Hemorage). But I think with time it'll be fine.
It's worth it for the login alone.
And the music.
As they once said.
I belong to Reach.

Not bad, just, Idk, a little slow for me. The game is fun, but it's samey, but its a nice idea, and is charming, just not what I fancied at the moment.

It's bare bones, but already these guys have gotten more right about a Superman game than 90% of the stuff that's come before. Hope they get to flesh it out more.

It's not a bad game, just a boring one. It's the sort of thing that would be fun on mobile, but on pc its worthless. It's just :
archers < shields, shields < pikes, pikes < archers. But you're allowed to use all 3 every round. The only challange is if you want to be doing something else, and leave the formation for the whole round in just on place (rather than just sending the whole army to every fight and wining). It's a game to play if your boss is walking about and you need to be able to tab to something else in a second, leave the game for 5 min or more, and still come back to it not ruined. I'm going to say I don't recommend it, but it is charming and nice, so if you want a very chill game, go for it.

When you go to open in, 80% of the time it will:
-Infinitely load
-Log you out of the social club and force you to log back in
-Freeze and force you to restart your computer, or even just ♥♥♥♥ steam about so it takes 15 min to open just Steam again.

Shockingly bad optimization, and the games ok, but this makes it honestly annoying as ♥♥♥♥ most of the time.
Also, why can't I import my PS4 character who I'd imported from the Xbox 360? I bought the game 3 times, why have they added this needless lock on character transfer? It's so you pay money to get the stuff you previously had.

Greedy, worthless developers.

Edit: Some extra stuff:

- Shooting is impossible. It's the most floaty, imprecise ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I've ever seen.

-Matchmaking is a joke. No server select, you choose one of 300 game modes and pray you find a game. if not, you host an empty lobby people come into then quit out of. Also, everyones salty.

-Theres too much of nothing to do. Just a lot of things that are fun, but because theres so many theres not enough people to fill one lobby of any of them.

-A multitude of undisputed hackers who will kick you from the game, kill you on spawn, use bullets that go throuhg relity, teleport, be invincible, have more money than god, etc etc, and they do nothing about it. Theres also no way to report them once they kick you from your own session, and it's just makes you think ''Well, why not just do it then?''

The fundamentals of the game are fun. The online has potential, and when I first played it on the X360, I thought ''wow, in a few months, when the bugs are gone, this will be great.''

It's been years.
Years.
And the bugs have only grown in number.

--
A few more things I've found with the online: it takes about 3 hours to do anything. Wanna play a job? It'll take you 20 min to find the one you want, and the game will be unfair as you'll be up against someone who grinds it.

Also, no party system? I just have to invite my friend (which takes 20 seconds to invite someone to a game? really??? ) to the job, and hope he gets in in time. We can't jsut go in together.

--Edit : The Casino expansion.
W.O.W.
So, this is what you've been working on?
Not fixing the rampant hacking, or how people who spend 15 quid on Shark cards can just kill anyone whenever they like.
You add the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Casino I've ever seen.
Let's break it down: First, it'll only open the game in Safe Mode now. We don't know why, but it won't work otherwise.
Once in, you have to sit though a literally add, and then when you walk into the casino you get a 2nd, 5 min walk around the ''casino''.

Once free, you have to walk slowly from the entry area to the card tables, which takes a minute of your time.
But you needen't bother. Despite how they may appear, every game, from table games, slot machines, or roulette, are the same. 4 losses, 1 win. Try it. It tries very hard to keep to this tempo, but will break it a little here and there so you can't use it to bet big and win.
Unlike an actual Casino, where they could only dream of this sort of control, here, the game can literally pick which card it's going to get next. Go play Blackjack, and marvel at how the dealer can always get 20 on queue, or gets blackjack about 10% of the time (seriously, I played maybe 20-25 games, and the dealer got blackjack 6 times. 3 were in a row). You'll lose at a rate of about 50 chips every 10 min (if 50's your average bet).
Just cash out, go spin the wheel once a day, and don't waste your time. If you HAVE TO PLAY this game, there are better ways of wasting your time and money. What an absolute ♥♥♥♥ show.

Played only a bit, but the shield system, the slowly building complexity of combat, the combos, the locations, and the art, jeez, the art. It's all amazing. I'm hoping there's as much left as I've found already. Love it.
