It's a story as old as time itself; it's raining outside and you don't have an umbrella and don't want to get wet, what are you doing to do? Well, a little friendly B&E sounds like the only reasonable action. Except this time you have broken and/or entered into a seemingly abandoned and undeniably haunted mansion, which was obviously a good plan!

This is a point & click game done right, it's a simple, straightforward story with a plethora of puzzles and moments that make you actually think about what needs to happen next. It's exactly what I was hoping for!

Also, the immense level of sarcasm in the dialogue genuinely gave me life!

I feel like this is a solid start to something that could be really really good! I love the way you can use your voice in the game, that's a novel concept (which I had a lot of fun with). I think that the sound effects probably need to be dialled back a little though, there is an onslaught of noises at all times so it loses the spook factor after a while.

I'm excited to see where you go with this though!

A single playthrough of this feels like your barely scratching the surface of what absolute stress and madness that this holds!

I absolutely loved my first experience and I am already hungry for more, I just need to let my gums heal first...

This is SO well done! The different storylines woven into each other are done in a way that makes sense and you have enough time with each person to genuinely care about their story and what happens next (even if they are borderline insane...). The fact that each character has their own ending you can unlock is a really nice touch as well as this adds some serious replayability if you miss anything the first time.

Even the cooking elements of this are done well, I was expecting that to be a bit of a chore but I ended up really enjoying it!!

STORY

There's an interesting trope in horror that if someone is even 30 seconds late taking their medication then their entire world unravels, this is definitely the case for poor Andrew. He is clearly haunted by something in his past and it has messed him up in a big way. This trope obviously lends itself to the whole "is this actually happening?" question that the game is going for

The demo gives you a slight glimpse into the story, with a psychiatrist visit and an experience of some of Andrew's "hauntings" but doesn't really give too much away about what the main game might hold.

GAMEPLAY

This feels like Indie-Horror-By-Numbers at this stage, you are walking around a house randomly routing through drawers and cabinets trying to find items to progress. This is where the game feels at its weakest, I live alone (I think) and there are arbitrarily doors locked in the middle of the house, drawers which need to be lockpicked, and hardly any of the lights work. This could be saved by some narrative around it but there isn't, the things are just locked and Andrew is content use his lighter as the only light source in his own home...

TL;DR

It's a decent concept and the narrative on show is good but (especially the cutscenes), there is nothing memorable about the gameplay at the moment though and it feels like Indie-Horror-By-Numbers. I'm interested to see how this grows though!

This is such a cool concept, the way that time has to be be managed alongside the point & click investigation makes this really interesting! I'm upset the demo ended when it did but this was a great taste of what's to come in the full version! Great stuff!

Such a cool concept! I loved every second of this and especially how varied each night felt. I can't wait to see what kind of chaos the full game holds!!

I don't know why the monkey is on a bike, I don't know why I'm collecting the bananas, I don't know who would possibly want to set out all these traps to try and kill me, but I don't care, I love this anyway!!

This looked good from the screenshots and the information on the Steam page but DAMN I was not expecting this to be this good!!

The writing is great, the combat is fun, the story is interesting, the humour is spot on, and there is a whole lot of game considering this is just the first chapter.

I can't wait for the next chapter!!
