This is an amazing and intricate colony sim. There isn't another game out there that holds a candle to Dwarf Fortress. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot, it's been best of brand for 20 years so far and will probably be the best for another 20.

One of the most enthralling games I've played. The mechanics are great, the stories are sad, but overall this is one of the best games out there. Bonus boints for the DLC that keeps coming out, long after this team could have packed it up and moved onto a new project.
