The writing in this game had me rolling

It's awesome. Probably the most approachable fighting game ever made. Even if you don't touch multiplayer, there're dozens of hours of content to enjoy. And if you do touch multiplayer, hoo boy, it is a treat. Fun battle hub to run around, very quick ranked queuing, LP per character instead of an overall rating so it's very comfortable to switch to alt characters. The game looks insanely good. There's some weirdness with the in-game currency economies that are definitely in service of a future battlepass, but this game still offers FAR more character customization that any modern multiplayer game without nickel and diming you for every virtual accessory. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Extremely satisfying formula and fun varieties of strategies in this deckbuilder. You get to be the spin kicking secret agent of your dreams. Lacks some polish and I'm personally not a huge fan of the "we want to save money on texturing so let's look like Superhot" aesthetic. Definitely worth it if you're already a fan of deckbuilders and want something new to scratch that itch, otherwise I would advise waiting for a sale.

Really good indie space sim! Like a much more focused, small-scale X game, which is honestly exactly what I was looking for.

This game has multiple great innovations on the Vampire Survivors formula. Super worth the purchase and clearly has tons of great content!

My only issue with it is that most projectiles are the same shade of blue, and it's hard to distinguish ally projectiles from enemy projectiles. At one point I was fighting ghosts while I had a ghost minion and I swear they shared the same sprite.

Yeah it's Halo, but without split screen. WTF the console version has split screen. IDGAF if it has 8k textures and runs at a million FPS, the only thing I want is to be able to play halo with friends on the couch. Do the 343 employees not have friends or family? What type of virgin is like "yo wanna come over and game? I know I have a 65" TV with my PC hooked up to it, but you should bring your laptop cuz I wanna play halo"?. Literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, ruins the game 0/10 add split screen.

I know there's a mod, but it's beyond ret***ed that it's not included in the base game. I didn't buy this ♥♥♥♥ to go add in basic features that were in the original release over 20 years ago my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ self.

Also the menu UI's are some of the worst I've ever seen in a game. Don't @me.

Coming from EFT and Hunt: Showdown, I really like Marauders so far. It fits into a sci-fi arcade-like niche that is missing right now. A lot of people are criticizing the amount of content, comparing it to EFT, which I don't think is an entirely fair comparison as EFT has been around for years at this point and Marauders only just now entered EA. So far I haven't really experienced any bugs, which is crucial for a game like this. There is definitely much less here than a game like Tarkov, so if you're looking for something that has had years and years of development and polish behind it as well as a more hardcore feel, that's the game for you. Not me though, I prefer the more arcade-like gunplay and movement on display here.

As for areas I'd really love to see some improvement on (besides the obvious "add more"), the sound design feels very lacking compared to its contemporaries. The atmosphere and soundscapes feel very empty, and don't fit some of the really detailed and epic spaces. From a gameplay perspective too, sound seems to not take into account walls or verticality between itself and the source, which can make it difficult to pinpoint where people are and over encourages running + gunning. The ship part of the game also feels like there's a bit more work to do. There isn't a huge incentive to engage in ship combat, and the fact that there is only 1 central location available, means that 90% of the time everyone just bee lines to get on the ground and start looting. Destroying player's ships and then escape pods feels pointless since you can't exactly loot charred space debris.

Otherwise though, I think this is a fantastic start to a very interesting game in a genre I enjoy/ get stressed in.

So far kind of a middle of the road SMT game. It's not going to blow the minds of any series vets, but it's fun enough and approachable for newcomers. It's really nice to see an SMT game launch day one on PC, so I was willing to buy it just for that. Otherwise, the day 1 DLC is super cringe, and the level design is very underwhelming. However, I enjoy the Sabbath system in combat, the story is miles better than SMT V already (there's more characterization in the first 30 minutes here than SMT V has in the first 30 hrs), and I think the demon designs look cool. There are also some pretty good music tracks, which is crucial in an SMT game. Overall, I think it's worthwhile if you're really looking to play an SMT game on Steam and already finished P4.

I swear, the character controls like she's on rollerskates!
