If you thought RE2R was good, this one is even better. Awesome mix of horror, story, action, visuals, and combat. Get to see Leon become a complete badass Chad. Ada DLC is just as good as the main story as well.

10/10 for me, nothing I can complain about in this game at all.

I came expecting Bakamitai memes and some kind of Japanese mafia story. Man did I receive a whole lot more than I was expecting.

This game is a straight hidden gem and I see now why there is a cult following with this series. The game manages to blend these over the top craziness in sub-quests and mini games at one moment with a serious great deep story with so many memorable characters. Even the soundtrack (aside from Bakamitai, 24 Hour Cinderella, and other minigame songs) were unexpectedly good for fights and moments in the story.

Combat is also fun for a beat em up brawler. Don't go in expecting Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden levels of depth with combat, but man are the heat action animations hella satisfying to do.

The story is a bit of a slow burn initially, but picks up very quickly and once got me to the point once I hit midway through the game, I just wanted to ignore all of the side distractions and binge on the story. After finishing the story, this is one of those games that left me with that empty "now what...?" feeling after finishing a great game and story. Luckily, the sequels already are out and I immediately picked up Kiwami and Kiwami 2 since I just wanted more of it.

TL:DR, one of the best $5 I've spent on any game in my life.

Came for the soundtrack, stayed for the game.

But no really, one of the best GG and fighting games out right now. Definitely a good game to get into the series with and start learning. Awesome if you love unga bunga gameplay with fighters. One of the best netcode experiences in fighting games makes this game a joy to play online. Quick rematches with people for little time staring at menus waiting on load screens also.

Only cons really is the visual downgrade in the lobby system, though it is functional. Also initially when first connecting to servers or doing things like viewing people's R-codes it took a super long time to load. Seems to be getting addressed with patches though. In match gameplay wise though, no complaints.

As someone who had never played a previous Monster Hunter (though have played some similar action games to it), this was a very good entry game into the series for me. Not really much of story or lore you really need to know ahead of time. Story in game itself is rather average, but not really one of the main points to play the game for. Basic premise of the games is go hunt big monsters, carve their hides/horns/etc, make armor and awesome gear and wear it, move onto the next stronger monster. Rinse and repeat.

The feel of the combat in MHW is definitely very distinct, being a lot of more slower paced, well placed deliberate hits rather than other more twitchy action games where you can cancel out of attacks on an easier basis. When you throw an attack in this game, you better commit to that attack.

Plenty of weapons for various playstyles to choose from, huge variety of monsters to fight, and of course tons of awesome looking gear allowing some serious custom skill builds to make your own dream setups. Really nothing bad I can say about this game especially given all of the updates, many free that it received over the span of it's lifetime.

A pleasant surprise for me in 2019, originally played just a bit on Xbox Game Pass but wanted to pick up here once it ran out. I was definitely a fan of the older 2D Castlevanias, especially SotN and this has every right to be the spiritual successor. Same awesome gameplay, same producer, and even same music composer. If you're a fan of the 2D Castlevanias, you can't pass this one up.

The time has come and so have I, DMC is back baybee!!! Easily the most SSStylish and best game now of the whole series. If you're into action games, you'd be doing yourself a disservice to not pick up this game.

It's South Park, what else can you ask for? It's like you're watching and getting to interact with a really long episode of the show.

Only thing is might not be everyone's taste since it's essentially a turn based RPG.But even still, they add their own South Park style to all of the abilities and attacks which still makes it funny. Haven't laughed this much in a game in a while. A must play for any fan of the show IMO.

Came for the combat, stayed for about everything else.

Seriously though, I never played the previous Nier or Drakengard series. Came in expecting to basically play some Metal Waifu Rising and got hit with a wall of completely unexpected depth to the game.

The big thing was story for sure. Yoko Taro made it seem like it was Hideo Kojima trying to make a JRPG with this game. Completely blew my expectations, along with even Kojima-ish style moments of the game just screwing with you. Best unexpected gem of a game for me so far this year. Looking forward to future Yoko Taro titles.

Fast paced. High octane. Adrenaline pumping. Paula Dean status buttery smooth gameplay w/ 60+ fps support.

Everything and more you could hope for in an FPS. Easily my biggest surprise of 2016 so far.

Rip.,.. and.... TEAR!!!

That being said though seriously, probably want to hide yo wife, kids, parents, etc from this game.
