Putting the social aspect of steam aside, It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ convenient to have the ingame overlay, workshop etc. at the click of your fingertips, you can't blame people for having a liking to steam cause of that.
Oh, and who hurt you? No normal person gets this triggered and fuming for the simple reason you portrayed.
Steam's customer service is on a complete new level compared to Epic's, which you obviously didn't know.
Everyone is out to make money, stealing games and making them exclusive is a ♥♥♥♥ move, especially in the way that Epic with various devs did.
Steam is a lot less bloating than uplay for example, has more games, etc.
Having more launchers also makes for a lot more cluttered, used up disk.

You obviously didn't read my comment cause of your rage. My point obviously was that Epic is even more of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ company than Steam/Valve is cause of their lack of features, even the most basic ones and the laziness of not adding any for the longest time

99% of my steam games are free. Don't you think that only Epic does "limited time free" games. If you don't care about what steam has to offer, then good for you, but not having a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shopping cart for the longest time is just a sign that Epic doesn't give a single ♥♥♥♥ about the game store
