Playing OMORI is exactly like finishing a good book or watching an immersive movie. You're overwhelmed with thoughts and emotions, to the point where after you finish the game you just need to go lie down in bed and process things.

I've enjoyed this game so much that now I go through and watch videos of other people playing through it just to see their reactions. I'm constantly nagging my friends to give this a try because it really is a unique experience with fantastic music and storytelling. It's filled with moments that really bring out your emotions to immerse you deeper into the game. Anyone who's ever dealt with stuff like loneliness, sadness, anxiety or depression would be able to find that this hits closer to home than you might originally think.

It's one of the few games where after I've beaten it once, I actually went back and completed 100% of the achievements just to be able to experience the full depth of the game as I was really left craving for more.

Overall, the game has a 98% positive rating with almost 35,000 reviews at the time of writing. If you're on the fence about getting this, just know that tons of people clearly enjoy and recommend it. It's well worth the money, so trust me and try to go into it as blind as you can. You'll play through a story that you'll probably never forget.
