WOW! This game is amazing! I must be one of the lucky ones because I am experiencing next to no issues compared to everyone else. I've had 2 crashes, one during a stutter before a cutscene and another while benchmarking the game for a 3rd time in a row, other than that it's run near flawlessly!

I'm running a gtx 1060 6gb, Ryzen 5 2700 and at 1440p maintaining a very smooth 40-45+ FPS experience. The only settings I have changed have been bumping up the FOV to 80 (lowering my AVG FPS by 1), keeping the game running in borderless windowed I also turned off VSync. Motion blur I left on as it seems barely noticeable in this game and all graphical settings remained unchanged from the "original" preset.

I am extremely surprised this game runs smooth at 1440p on a 1060, especially after watching the digital foundry video. Maybe day 1 patch + not changing many, if any, graphical settings have actually helped me here?

The gameplay? Honestly liking it as much as the Witcher 3. Definitely less story driven but controls feel amazing on mouse and keyboard. If you missed picking this up on PS4 like I did then this is a must buy!

You can cut demons in half with a chainsaw, get jumpscared by big demons and show scientists that brawn beats brains. 10/10

In short, if you want a smooth and fairly polished puzzle solving experience in VR and haven't bought the base game I highly recommend this at any price, else definitely worth it on sale!

After playing 40 odd hours of the non VR version of the game and it's DLC's, seeing this game on sale for 8 bucks AUD, for me it was a must buy!
This game is amazing in VR, and although I am totally against its full price tag if you've already played the original, I highly recommend picking it up on sale as it's hands down the smoothest and most enjoyable puzzle solving VR experience I've ever had.

Also, for those of you complaining about movement speed, I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but on the occulus rift holding down the jump trigger on both the left and right controllers will mute sound and send everything in game, including your movement speed, into fast forward by what feels like a good x2-x3, which definitely helps when you want to get back to an area quickly after dying and you're not at risk of missing dialogue in the process.

Amazing game! Beautiful graphics accompanying a game made with love by the devs (something very scarce in videogames these days). Psychosis is portrayed in such a way that will have you questioning your own sanity while playing the game, a seriously unique experience I loved, start till end.
This game NEEDS a sequel, i want more of the beautiful sound design, amazing graphics and could only ask that they tighten the controls a little bit in combat, as when inundated with enemies (specifically near the endgame) my spacebar became a bit of a punching bag as i furiously attempted to keep all spawned enemies in my line of sight.

Scoring the game I'd personally say:
Sound = 10/10
Graphics = 10/10 (this includes optimisation)
Gameplay/Combat = (7-8)/10

Highly recommend the game, especially if you can snag it for close to 20 bucks or less!

Game's in beta and is already full of hackers? Can confirm, it is less painful pulling out my own hair than than it is playing this game.

Firstly, I have to say, WOW. This game shat all over my expctations. I'm only 3 hours in, but I must say, having only completed the first book and getting raped on the second, this will certainly be one of the few games I endevour to finish.

I have never played anything like this game before, and was hesitant due to the graphics and procedural generation resembling minecraft (and everyone hates minecraft right?) but the overwhelmingly positive reviews made me spend the $1.49 US that it cost's at the time of this review. I must say, that $1.49 was well worth it. The first book is a great introduction to the game mechanics, and then the second feels like a completely different game (I may or may not have kicked my desk in fright after a screaming ghosts attacked me and i got penetrated by a statue). This game is full of surprises and is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AMAZING!
