Had this game for a few years, finally decided to write a review.

Its fun, I like it, but its not for everyone.


The online community is very nice and fun to be around, I have spent most of my hours this way.

It's an infinite universe, there is always something to explore and discover

NPCs are pretty cool, they add to the environment as you travel through the universe.

The tech system is very convenient for exploring especially when climbing mountains.

Bosses are pretty cool, They have their own unique ways of challenging the player.

Ship system is simple and easy to understand, plus you can liven up your ship with some crew members.

Soundtrack is pretty nice too, it adds to the feel of exploration.

It is easy to have friends join your game which allows for coop playthroughs (They're pretty cool :D)

There are also plenty of mods in the Steam Workshop to enhance your gameplay experience (Frackin' Universe :D)


If you don't enjoy doing repetitive things, then I suggest you to invest your money somewhere else.

Storyline is enjoyable, when you get to the main points. In between those main events, you're mainly grinding for money to buy gear or mining deep to craft your armor both of which can be very tedious processes. Not only are you grinding for gear, the game requires you to scan objects in order to progress through the story, which in my opinion is very annoying as it can get very boring looking for them.

Combat isn't the most satisfying thing ever, its mostly spacing and clicking your mouse at the right time.

Not really much to do once you finish the story. :/

Base game doesn't contain too much content. It can get boring very quickly depending on the player.

The game is pretty fun, I enjoy it personally, but the game is not for everyone. I hope this helps you make your decision whether to buy this game or not. :P

Best walking simulator 2017

I've never been so triggered playing bowling in my life.

10/10 would scream at monitor again

A fun, unique take on a bullet hell game. The bossfights and scenery we're well designed which kept me hooked on to the game. The gameplay was executed in a beautiful manner giving the player many functions whilst having simple controls to learn. I'd recommend any fan of bullet hell games to pick up Furi! :D

Okay so after breaking out of a few prisons, I'd figure that I just write this review.

The game is a great time killer that makes the player think and consider about their choices.

The Escapists is a fun strategy game in which you are assigned one specific goal which is to escape prison. Simple enough right? However, there is more than just that. There are guards that hinder your progress with methods such as checking your cell for contraband or checking for missing walls or air vents. There are guard posts with snipers set outside the prison so you can't just go outside and cut a hole through a fence and escape. There are also routines that the player must follow in order to keep the cops off of his/her back. Because of this, the player must create a plan of action in order to dodge the prison guards and escape. There are various tools that the player can craft in order to aid with the execution of their plan. The ingredients required to craft these tools can be bought or stolen from your prison mates. With everything in place, the satisfaction of watching your plan unfold and execute perfectly makes you feel empowered and accomplished. However, its not over. There are more prisons that progressively get harder and harder that brings a tougher challenge to the player. Overall, the game is a fun strategy game in which the player must consider and plan their escape from prison.
