So 4 years after the release of Fallout 4, the game has dropped into the same hell that skyrim has, where it's practically the only game in the series that is really appealing to play (barring NV, of course, but who will ever stop playing that), and you really need to enhance the experience with mods.

That said, if you manage to tailor the game to your liking, and can get yourself into the RP mood, Fallout 4 can be really really fun.
