I have a lot of hours of experience in Slay the Spire, so this game took just over 40 hours to 100% and it was so worth the time and money, would buy again if I had the choice and I really hope they release more content in the future, the game is an absolute blast to play and the story and dialogue is presented in such a fun way as well.

Even if you've never played a Roguelite Deckbuilder before, this might be the introduction you need.

I've played this game for years. I have had a lot of fun, and found a really great community of people to play with. On occasion, the gemshop purchases have seemed expensive, but over time they have smoothed out and there are ways to get the premium currency ingame, so it was fine.

This newest update doesn't just introduce a new premium currency.
It doesn't just introduce an awful gacha mechanic.
The new premium currency + gacha mechanic are the only way to access a game bonus that completely changes the game. The amount of bonuses available from the ONE top tier gacha reward are absurd.

I'm forced to leave a negative review for a game I've loved for a very long time, but as anyone who has read the developer's comments over the years would know, this scummy pay 2 win mechanic betrayal can not stand.
