All parts that make a game great blend together in an absolutely stunning title. Even though it feels linear and decision making is lackluster, the story itself progresses beautifully and keeps me engaged into playing more and more.
Really happy with how polished the game is as well, can't believe such a vast title is so well presented from the get-go. BIG props to the devs and everyone involved in making this gem!

Anmeldelse fra tidlig tilgang
Gunfight immersion = 10/10
Graphics = 10/10 I mean it's UE4
Shi*lords on voice chat = 5/7
Pleb asking me how I got my Assassin's Creed outfit (early beta adopter reward) = 10/10

Tip: For the highest FPS set your textures to High and everything else as low as possible (except for native res ofc). The game puts a lot of strain on CPU if you modify textures to anything else but their native High, at least for now until we get a separate texture pack for lower settings. If my raggedy ass GTX 760 can play the game crispy clean, so should yours.

For Playerunknown: People stopped using the melee weapons a long time ago. Way too niche and absolutely nobody I encountered used them once. Other than that colour me impressed: you've done a good job, if you keep it up this baby might just turn into something beautiful!

Totally amazeballs. I still have to complete the Wyatt timeline so a 2nd run is due at some point. The game has been nothing short of amazing!

Imagine an office meeting in a small gaming company. While brains fume out look for an idea for an upcoming game, one random guy shouts "Hey you know what would work? A super cool storyline showing teenage drama." And then came Life is Strange.

Which is maybe how this game would have been perceived. Except that the storyline is absolute garbo. I don't care that I completed it 100% in less than two hours, that's fine. I wouldn't have minded that it's more of an experience rather than a game, IF the experience was to be good.

But it wasn't.

In rare moments, buying something doesn't feel like giving away money but rather being privileged to come across a great find. This game was one of those experiences to me.

What I loved most about this game is the relaxed simplicity. There's no overweight drama, no feeling of urgency, no unecessary tension; just a simple, calm and welcoming vibe from start to end. Its artwork really shines through and the fact that it was made of real world materials brings more applaud to the artists - it makes the experience lively, warm and homey.
The level design is also ingenious and the creativity in the puzzles is well brought together. Also the handy manual is a cool trick basically saying you'll have to work your way into finding the actual answers if you're too lazy to figure them out.
The story line floats seamlessly as you progress and the characters you'll meet have their own unique personalities and show little insights into their mundane struggles that adds a nice flavour to the experience. The action happens in a surreal environment but the plot feels very real and relatable to anyone who started their life, bringing up themes like friendship, family, living in a crowded area, modern energy resources and more which you can discover by yourself.

The only part I didn't enjoy was the interface. For example it takes a bit of a pavlovian response to learn that hitting the Esc key (which every gamer knows as the pause menu key) will only make the game exit fullscreen.
Character movement and action triggers feel a bit lacking and sometimes the puzzles refuse to behave as intended until the game is restarted, making it feel like the game was designed by artists with beautiful vision rather than strict game buffs with a knack for nerdy menu designs and that is just fine in my book.
So facing a beautiful and unique experience those were very minor glitches and that won't keep me away if sequels come and I sure hope they do.

A breath of fresh air, I'd definitely recommend this one to anyone that can use a mouse.

An all time classic, no need for further information really... And the sheer number of mods available out there will keep you entertained for months! Enjoy!
