"Yakuza 5 Remastered: Dreams Unleashed"

It took me about 80 hours to finish this game story. It was pure enjoyment all of the time because for me it's a masterpiece. Especially on the taxi minigame but that's a different story. In this review I want to focus on the story and the moral it gives to us. So, I recommend sitting back and relaxing because it might get a little long.

Yakuza 5 Remastered continues the tradition of delivering a rich and multifaceted narrative that immerses players into the intricate world of the Japanese underworld. The story is divided among five playable characters: Kazuma Kiryu, Shun Akiyama, Taiga Saejima, Haruka Sawamura, and Tatsuo Shinada. As their paths intertwine, players witness a gripping saga that explores themes of loyalty, redemption, and the consequences of one's past actions.

The narrative kicks off with Kiryu, the series iconic protagonist, attempting to leave his yakuza past behind and lead a peaceful life. However, as is often the case in the Yakuza series, circumstances pull him back into the criminal underworld. The story seamlessly transitions between the different characters, providing a diverse range of perspectives on the overarching plot.

One of the central themes in Yakuza 5 is the concept of loyalty, particularly the unwavering bonds that characters share within the yakuza brotherhood. The narrative delves into the complexities of these relationships, exploring how personal connections can be both a source of strength and a potential downfall. Loyalty becomes a driving force for many characters, pushing them to confront their pasts and make difficult choices for the sake of those they care about.

Redemption is another crucial theme woven into the narrative. Each character grapples with their own history and strives to overcome their past mistakes. Whether it's Kiryu seeking a path of righteousness, Akiyama trying to help others as penance for his wealth, or Saejima attempting to reconcile with his troubled past, the story presents a nuanced exploration of redemption and the possibility of finding forgiveness.

But what moral does Yakuza 5 give us?

It imparts several moral lessons throughout its narrative. It emphasizes the significance of personal growth, forgiveness, and the enduring power of loyalty. The characters' journeys serve as a reminder that redemption is attainable, even in the face of a tumultuous and often unforgiving world. The game encourages players to reflect on the consequences of their actions and the importance of standing by those they hold dear.

Conclusion:

Yakuza 5 Remastered not only offers an engaging and intricate story but also delivers meaningful moral lessons that resonate with players long after the credits roll. It's a tale of honor, loyalty, and the enduring pursuit of redemption in a world where the line between right and wrong is often blurred.

To sum things up I just wanted to say it's the best Yakuza I played ever. It got itself a really special place in my heart with its beautiful story and overall gameplay. But if I had to focus on all the things in this game think it would take several hours for me to write it. So, to end this review I just want to say it's quite a literal masterpiece and I recommend everyone to play it.
